02/2/2021 10:41 | What is Echo Energy gas production? In the half year to June 2020 Echo Energy produced 1,954 MMscf gas. That was a period of 182 days so a daily production of 10.73 MMscf gas per day. The 1st Dec 2020 RNS informed shareholders that 3,329 MMscf of gas were produced in the period 1st Jan- 17 Nov 2020. From the 1st Jul- 17 Nov 2020, a period of 140 days, 1375 MMscf of gas were produced or 9.82 MMscf per day. In the Argentina production update dated 5th Feb 2020 the daily gas production was given as 11.5 MMscf per day. An ongoing story of reduced gas production.Down 15% in a year. That,in a year when, unlike oil in Argentina, gas sales were largely unaffected. What revenues can be expected for gas? In the first half to June 2020, $3,500,000 were related to gas sales. The 6th Jan 2021 update indicates spot prices as low as $1.6 per mmbtu. 40% of Echo gas is sold at this price. And contract prices of $2 per mmbtu announced. Gas production down, gas prices down. Revenues under pressure for gas sales to be added to low oil production rates. Be careful. | helpfull

28/1/2021 10:32 | Is it a surprise? Some would perhaps say the noses are in the trough again. 35,750,000 options at 0.66p. The CEO to get 24,000,000. Why? " to retain and incentivise employees through the award of equity incentives". Strange. You'd thunk that a salary of hundreds of thousands of dollars in a time of pandemic, in a (another) year of losses for the company, as the debt interest payment cannot be paid and the need for three cash raises in six months would be incentive enough. Not for these Masters of the Universe. Of course it says a lot about prospects for Echo as seen in the eyes of the directors. The last options issued to the good Martin were in December 2019 at 2.6p. Were they talking of a 15p share price to keep mug punters interested? Never. Today the gloves are off. Oink! Oink! | helpfull
25/1/2021 09:35 | What is Echo Energy oil production and what revenue can be expected? The 1st Dec 2020 update : "Since end July 2020, net daily oil production has increased by 109% with cumulative net oil production from this date of 17,859 bbls. As of 17 November 2020, net stock of liquids at the export terminal was 7,963 bbls and net stock in the field was 7,776 bbls". That's 164bopd. The 8th Dec 2020 informed shareholders a production level of 210 hope was achieved with "reopenings". At $50 per barrel that's about $3,800,000 for a year. Assuming the oil can be sold and the 8% export tax is paid. In the half year to 30th June 2020 revenues of $2,100,000 were achieved for oil sales or $4,200,000 pro rata for a year. And that six months was a poor six months. Heavy losses. Even at $55 per barrel Echo is struggling. Be careful | helpfull

21/1/2021 13:13 | You missed an important part of this story... YPF may be unable to meet its domestic gas demand coming into Argentine winter... high demand and little supply will push up prices, which is good ECHO | joelebeau
21/1/2021 12:42 | hxxps://www.msn.com/ YPF is crucial to the O&G industry in Argentina. It has both upstream and downstream assets. When oil couldn't be sold for love not money in Argentina during the 2020 lockdown the company suffered. It had to shutdown its refineries because there was no demand for its products. It shut down production like most companies in Argentina. The affect on its balance sheet can now be seen. A potential bond default in a country where there is no cash. The health of YPF is important to Echo Energy. The affect of Covid lockdown in 2020 was as hard on Echo Energy as it was on YPF. Three cash raises in six months and a need to renegotiate the €25,000,000+ debt and the toll is still rising. If YPF hits the skids the whole fabric of the O&G industry in Argentina could crash (again). The country is in great need of cash. What chance the VAT rebate is curtailed? $50,000 in 3 months. That's 4%. The remainder might take a few more years. Be careful. | helpfull
