No, they are going to sell shares for what the mug punter is willing to pay. And there are several billion to offload. But offload they will. They have been given a way out and make some money out of any fool that will let them. Can you afford it?

Why do you think "Bondholders (are) doing debt for equity at 76% premium"? Why would bondholders not "do debt for equity at parity" and thus receive more shares? They, like you, want to make as much money as they can out of the mug punter. The simple answer is that they accepted a conversion price at 0.45p rather than 0.25p because that was the best they could negotiate to release themselves from what they considered "junk" bonds. A worthwhile hit for a way out now, not in two years or ten years, but now. They will attempt to sell to the mug punter and recover some of their money. Eventually they will want to escape at any price and the value of Echo shares will be trashed. Over 5,000,000,000+ trashed.

Sonshareholders being diluted to oblivion. Still a shed load of debt. Still anaemic production increases .. gas prices probably falling going forward.. this is good news?

More than likely the 12,000,000 was a sell. Never moved the price upwards. I would suggest Lombard might be selling their 213,000,000 debt interest shares received at 0.25p/share in August. They'll bowl them in as long as the mug punter will buy them. Followed by another billion any time soon.
