23/11/2016 10:31 | Airlines (not just EasyJet ;-) ) reporting increased passenger numbers and profits flooding into the swell the coffers for distribution to the shareholders. Only an OAF would be short on EasyJet at these prices. | tlobs2

23/11/2016 09:48 | Thomas Cook said its confidence in its future profitability meant the board was recommending a dividend of 0.5 pence per share for the 2016 full-year, in line with guidance it gave last year that it would make its first payout for five years in 2017. "We are confident that our strategy for profitable growth...will help us to achieve a full year operating result in line with current market expectations," Chief Executive Peter Fankhauser said in a statement on Wednesday. For next year, Thomas Cook said bookings for the summer, when it makes all its profit, were ahead across all its markets, while winter bookings from the UK were up 2 percent. | tlobs2

18/11/2016 12:02 | It's not beeen too bad a week. Despite the doom and gloom merchants moaning and groaning about everything apart from Bird Flu the share price on Monday afternoon at close of play was 1033p. Tueday morning the results were releases and digested by some and ignored by others (QuePAssa and Andy) and the share price since then has continued to rise. We are currently at 1080p. I suspect those shorters who were hoping and praying for disasterous results have had the rug pulled from under them. Greed has got the better of them and there are still millions of shares that must be purchased at some point in the future. With all the facts and figures out in the public domain you would have to be a brick short of a full load to cling on to any short position. IMHO | tlobs2
18/11/2016 10:57 | Yes, they're only a tiddler - but still a lot bigger than Liberum.I'm sure you've also noted that heavyweights HSBC and BarCap also reiterated their buy ratings this week? Broker consensus forecast now at 1350p+ | suffersnofools |
