Earlier this year Stellios wanted the dividend increased but was outvoted by institutional interests so they would hardly allow him to buy it cheaply with the intention of bringing it back to the market once sentiment improved.

When I say mislead, of course I mean blatantly lie. You seem to be a specialist at that.

You are missing the downgrade today from Merrills, but given you are prone to mislead, that doesnt surprise me.

Still way too many airlines in the sky. Further consolidation inevitable. If the share price keeps falling then a predator may well come a calling.Maybe Stellios will buy it back.Crazy cheap at the moment and a long term bargain for someone..

At the minute this and Capita are the easiest shorts on the FTSE. The spike on cable last night (suspected automated trade) just added to the joy. Nether company is likely to go bust. The downside in each case ends at zero for any long position. There is no limit to any upside exposure on a short position.
The price drop here may be worrying to over-leveraged holders, but some person or body is buying all these shares as and when they are made available.
Those who previously have little or no experience on the FX markets are now turning to cable to add to the alarm and despondency. Think about that a bit.......

For those who follow 'Naked Trader', it's worth noting that he see's this low price as increasing the likelyhood that EZY will attract a takeover bid from a larger rival airline.

Andy, I pointed out that you were a blatant liar yesterday and you failed to come up with a post number.

I can see why they call you the village idiot.....

If you invested some money in EasyJet you could actually make a profit and be paid some dividends. If you are not aware there are still significant short positions being held that are yet to be closed so watch out for the big buy orders to start coming in .....

890p is nearer the bottom that 891p. Ergo, the lower the buy, the less risky it becomes as it has less to fall. If you're going to buy a certain number of shares, that is true even if the company goes bust, because you'll be spending less with every 1p fall.

Simple maths, but something that uber bears ignore. Next stop 8 quid. :0)

I've bought in here this morning.
I think that too many are focusing on short / mid term extraordinary issues.
Don't overlook 'record passenger numbers' .
