Jamrol, I hope so for all holders. I also hold CFM so fingers crossed I can make back the loss there, but that's also a gamble imo.

hamblyr you timed it well, although DYS (worth £5m) should come out of suspension quickly as resolving banking issue will be only focus of the board.

TOPINFO I have also seen several suspensions and a percentage continue, looking at the note the board had no choice. Dyson is still a going concern and has plenty of assets to sell off, once the banking issue is resolved then Dyson will come back to life

whilst I will miss my £8k punt, at the end of the day I was aware of the risks. I will be in touch with their press office and post their response.

Jamrol. Been in these situations before, most recently York Pharma. These things are never temporary, and theres only one reason they have not posted results...yep they are shocking. I dont like to gloat at other poeples losses at all but if you now write this money off and if they come back ever thats a bonus.

I guess if the results haven't been submitted to market in time then the FSA have forced this suspension on Dyson, or perhaps something else is happening behind the scenes.



As a consequence Dyson is not in a position to publish its Report and Accounts
for the year ended 31 March 2009 by 31 July 2009 as required by Disclosure and
Transparency Rule (DTR) 4.1.3. Accordingly, Dyson has requested an immediate
suspension of trading in its shares pending publication of its audited Report &
Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2009.


In view of the Group's position with the banks, management has deemed it
necessary to implement further cost saving and cash management initiatives.

A further announcement will be made in due course.

churchtower i don't think I was patronising just stating that the board can't respond to every person who contacts them, and yes giving any information on black-out is illegal under the FSA rules.

Also the information that will be released today is partly known (hence the drop earlier in the month) so there is a fair chance this will turn around later.

GB - don't be so patronising. You can't be seriously suggesting when a Company makes an announcement that their final results will be on a specific day and a telephone call is made merely asking confirmation of the date that that is seeking privileged information.

i think you are assuming that everyone got in 3 months ago. If you are a long termer, you would not say so.

A statement this morning saying that a statement would be made by 4pm would be helpful. Other companies have reacted and released such staements. The MMs, by way of their response do agree with me.

KAJSHARES there is NO delay, the board have until 4pm today to submit them and for people to contact the company and expect pre-RNS information (i.e. this would be insider dealing!) just demonstrates lack of market knowledge.

Its really simple, if you have no faith in the board then sell, if you think there is a chance of recovery then hold...this has been a gamble/punt stock for the last 3 months.

GB: Check out the MM's response. This is not good at all. If the SHs are prepared to hold and suport the company throughout these hard times, the least they could do is to keep us informed promptly.

If there is a delay, they should say so. The MMs have indicated their opinion. Who carries the can? we do.
