10/3/2021 14:18 | slow burners are often the best! | tradertrev
10/3/2021 14:10 | tradertrev: Yes its a good price. I think we'll have a wait though. Its not a fast mover. I bought for slow burner. | netcurtains
10/3/2021 13:40 | netc, thanks for a reminder about a share I've wanted to buy for a long time. Mr Market even let me buy 24,000 shares at the mid-price! | tradertrev
10/3/2021 12:42 | Thanks... Lets hope they win something like this: | netcurtains
10/3/2021 11:33 | Welcome on board and hopefully we will see a trading update next month as per last year. | norbert colon
10/3/2021 11:08 | I bought a small number as possible recovery play. It is at a historical low-ish price. Has reasonable chance (within 12 months) of trading around about 60p. There is going to be a construction boom soon. | netcurtains
18/2/2021 20:31 | Driver are sound , they have good cash reserves of £10 Million and pays a dividend. Low rated , managed a good set of results compared to Covid 19. Massive scope of pipeline work due to contracts not been completed and expanding in New York. Its a share to keep but do not expect massive uplift , its a share that balances the portfolio. Expecting uplift in the end of year 30% , will not sell then | thordon
18/2/2021 09:41 | If anyone who reads this board has been selling shares recently, i would appreciate it if you could explain why you have been selling. Its always interesting to hear other peoples thoughts. | spooky

12/2/2021 11:58 | I have a feeling we are going to hear some good news shortly - I have not held these for years...just a few months. | barkboo
11/2/2021 22:31 | lol - held these for two years , dividend helps me smile. If you include dividend plus share price then even on investment. | thordon
11/2/2021 10:06 | Market liquidity can be a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Part of the reason there is no liquidity is because no one wants to sell in size at current prices, and no one wants to buy in size due to a lack of liquidity. Illiquidity isn't a reason for the company to not bother IMO, and small buybacks often act as a shop window for larger sellers who may otherwise cause overhangs. | dangersimpson2
28/1/2021 12:28 | Not sure there is the market liquidity at the moment to make it worthwhile, Mark? Unless they can find a block at an institution in the market they can get their hands on? They do have excess cash on the balance sheet earning them nothing snd would hope that working capital continues to unwind with better processes rather than vice versa. So it is truly surplus. 28/1/2021 12:11 | I don't really get why the company isn't buying back shares at the moment - they say the will attempt to provide the LTIP shares via buybacks to avoid dilution, they have 1/3rd market cap in cash, are not in a close period and the shares are at a level where they have previously bought. What more invitation do they need? | dangersimpson2
28/1/2021 09:58 | Thanks NC. I so love the fact that shareholders have to suffer the impact of exceptional (they're rarely credits) and tax, but not senior management - who of course get to decide what goes in Es. | trident5
28/1/2021 09:50 | Profit before exceptionals and tax. Don't get me started on exceptionals.... :)Old LTIP was near to expiry, included previous CEO and needed to be reset with achievable targets and around new CEO etc. | norbert colon
28/1/2021 09:38 | What's PBET? What was wrong with the old LTIP? | trident5
11/1/2021 22:58 | Thanks norbert | thordon

09/12/2020 21:53 | We've had 5 updates over the last 13 months excluding the upcoming results but including the AGM which I've attended the last 3 years in a row as pretty much the only retail investor there. Not sure how many updates you expect but that's about all you need and would expect from this type of business. | norbert colon
09/12/2020 21:24 | Need some good news , Driver does frustrate me as invested in past 13 months regarding updates. | thordon
09/12/2020 08:43 | Results next Tuesday. | norbert colon
09/12/2020 08:34 | Good to see this recover quickly after Monday's little dip. With the market quote @ 50-54 at the time, it was also good to see that 18k buy @ 58p earlier which is hopefully an indication of where we are heading next. Only 1k shares available to buy online currently, so looking promising. | gleach23
12/11/2020 22:48 | Nice appointment by Driver: hTTps://www.construc | norbert colon |
