Cash adjusted P/e of 7 and new year off to a good start. Cash balance flat in second half despite profits in excess of £2m is the only thing I can’t fathom. Guess we’ll have to wait for the numbers to explain that.

A 16% holding still shows confidence IMV and yes agree DRV may get taken out but at what price,,,,I would be a little disappointed at 80p but time will tell :-)

Yep a great interview - just a shame KAL has reduced his holding in DRV down to 16% since the March profit warning. Can only hope the October results are more robust although the Middle East remains a challenging market. My investment thesis remains that DRV will be acquired by a larger peer (probably US based) for at least 80p

I echo the above and thank NC for sharing his findings. For me, I still think the longer term prospects remain good (some buoyant business areas, pipeline of opportunities, re introduction of dividend) and am happy to hold. However, profit warnings often come in threes, so am looking for evidence that this is a blip and not more serious.

I took a maiden position this morning in my SIPP. Though disappointing news I feel the fall was harsh but not surprising given the current climate. Thanks to NC for sharing his views and discussions earlier today.

I got it wrong Simon Thompson actually had four profit warnings last week not three forgot cog. Yet still people can't wait to jump in the minute he re tips the same share for the 10th time?

For what it's worth, DRV has been described as heavily oversold in Simon Thompson's tip update from an hour ago.

Well I'm down a lovely 35% per cent this morning from my initial investment.

But am happy that the insiders that managed to sell in February got out at the right time.

God bless them, I say.

This should be taken over, by a law firm such as Gateley, which specialises in construction law. BoD haven't a blocking shareholding, and institutions such as Baronsmead/Gresham House might be keen on an exit. Wouldn't expect much of a premium, though.

Just a thought.
