22/8/2013 16:23 | Yes saucy, i saw the article in shares mag and was wondering if it would have an effect on the share price today. I was watching the share price all day today but no movement.....then suddenly...pop! | cfro
22/8/2013 16:08 | Tipped in Shares Magazine today: moving the price. I expect more to come short term as weekend readers come into play. | saucepan
07/8/2013 12:20 | Nudging the previous high, deserves a much higher rating imo. | bigbigdave
06/8/2013 13:44 | As i alluded to yesterday, we didnt have to wait long before DRV moved up on the back of AIM shares being allowed in ISA's. I too have bought more again today. New highs very soon i suspect. | cfro
06/8/2013 13:06 | And catching up after the placing. | broadwood
06/8/2013 13:00 | DRV are a quality AIM stock that can now be purchased now in an ISA, I should imagine that is the reason behind the price rise. I did take advantage of the new ISA rule yesterday, with another top up. ic2... | interceptor2
06/8/2013 12:54 | Yes, nice timing madmix, seller clearing today perhaps. | bigbigdave
06/8/2013 12:40 | Hi PJ1, I picked up my initial holding outside my ISA last week at 98.5p, and there seemed to be plenty of stock available. Had to pay 99.7p this morning, but I posted as soon as I saw the market getting short of stock - a bounce seemed inevitable. | madmix
06/8/2013 12:33 | mad-impressive timing, please inform me BEFORE you buy any more Shares. TIA PJ ;-)) | pj 1
06/8/2013 09:17 | I've also picked some up for the ISA this morning - looks like the cheap overhang stock is running out now. | madmix
05/8/2013 09:53 | Grabbed some more for my ISA. AIM shares set alight this morning so wont be long before investors catch on here. | cfro
04/8/2013 18:58 | Thanks for your comments. Confirmed what I thought. | rp19
04/8/2013 18:10 | RP19, not for me to give advice but depends on size of holding etc. Anyway, basically its best if you can to keep as much as you can in your ISA because of the tax considerations. | cfro
04/8/2013 00:07 | Yes deffo in a isa from august. Tax free gains | birdsedgeuk
03/8/2013 21:07 | Cfro/bigbigdave, I am only a couple of years into investing. I hold DRV in a standard share dealing account along with other shares, mainly smaller caps but not neccessairily all AIM. I also have an ISA that currently has very little in it. In light of the new AIM rules would you suggest that from now on that I would be better buying my shares within an ISA? Thanks. | rp19
03/8/2013 19:49 | Might be attractive to me bbd as i do have plenty of spare ISA cash ready and waiting to invest as from Monday. ;-) | cfro
03/8/2013 15:46 | ISA'ble as of Monday, no spare ISA cash tho :o( Might be attractive to those with a few bob to spare. | bigbigdave
03/8/2013 14:18 | Good post SuperstarDJ, completely agree with that. Got my divi yesterday too. Small but worthwhile nonetheless. | cfro
02/8/2013 07:43 | During this week around 20%-25% of the equity has changed hands. Technically that can only be a good thing because there is now a base level of 89p-91p where new shareholders have come onto the register whilst older, presumably looser, shareholders have cashed in their chips. Also that 'over-subscription' is more likely to mean the new holders have unsatisfied demand. Of course, it could be that one or two new holders might exit and just take a quick turn. But if that were so, I'm sure there would be takers for their shares. So, all-in-all a good week, I think, even though the share price is well below where it started on Monday. | superstardj
30/7/2013 16:20 | Bound to be oversubsribed at 89p after the recent contract win and ahead statement. But as these prices are worked out in the month's before 14th June, it is normal discount, and good to have 17% of the shares remaining in strong hands. ic2... | interceptor2
30/7/2013 13:53 | Another big trade gone through at 91p. Follow up demand? | superstardj
30/7/2013 13:27 | Not surprising that it was over subscribed considering the price. Who wouldn't subscribe at 89p. | effy123
30/7/2013 12:38 | You called it Superstar DJ. Yep, I'm happy with the 'over subscribed placing'. | rp19
30/7/2013 11:52 | Obviously the reason for the share price weakness over the last two days, but the resignation of Stephen Driver has been well flagged so no cause for alarm and his shares have been gobbled up by others with which will be shortly revealed i would think. | cfro
30/7/2013 10:04 | BBD Agreed. The stand out phrases for me are: "Following a recent round of investor presentations by the Company, Charles Stanley Securities has identified significant investor demand for the Company's shares." and "oversubscribed placing" The latter suggests there will be follow-on demand to me. | superstardj |
