01/2/2024 13:40 | Goodbody stockbrokers bought 214,131 shares yesterday at prices between 238.6p to 256.6p and they then sold 37170 shares at 246 So they are now long of around 177,000.(NFU sold 16000 odd just to complicate things). So its a bit confusing because on balance we have more buys than sells to date but we will be getting further disclosures i presume. | steeplejack
31/1/2024 17:04 | A rather badly handled large sell order late in the day by the looks of reported trades. | steeplejack

23/1/2024 08:32 | And, on 17 Jan:- Forward Partners Group PLC - London-based early-stage technology-focused investor - Says nearly all shareholders vote in favour of takeover by Molten Ventures PLC on Wednesday at court and general meetings. In November, Molten Ventures agreed to buy Forward Partners, backed by the latter's largest shareholder asset manager BlackRock Inc. Tech-focused investor Molten said that under the terms of the acquisition, Forward Partners shareholders will receive one new Molten share for each nine shares in Forward Partners they hold. In turn, Molten's 279.6 pence closing price on Friday values Forward Partners at GBP41.4 million. Molten shareholders will own just over 91% of the enlarged firm. | johnrxx99
23/1/2024 08:21 | Interactive Invester have still not sorted out the problem of being able to trade GROW. What a shower. I am not going to use the phone because I'm paying them to provide a service and I'll hassle them and GROW until it's sorted. | johnrxx99

11/1/2024 07:50 | Many thanks. I've sent ii a copy. Also overseas so the number they give is NFG. | johnrxx99
11/1/2024 07:30 | Particularly like when they tell you there's no KIID available and they won't let you trade it, yet you already hold it in your a/c. But don't worry, you can pick up the phone and spend 5 minutes of your day instead. | spectoacc
11/1/2024 07:24 | No idea. It's incorporated in England and listed in London, so it's not an overseas stock as I understand it. I think it has a secondary listing in Dublin, but that doesn't negate the London listing. I've had idiot brokers refuse to trade stocks for spurious reasons before and this sounds like another case of that. You could try getting in touch with Molten and see if they can help: One of the reasons I've had brokers refuse to trade a stock is that some companies have to publish a KID or a KIID or something and the broker simply couldn't be bothered to find the document - I sent them a link and although they were rather snotty about it they eventually started trading the stock again. In case that's the issue, here's Molten's KID - | zangdook
11/1/2024 02:51 | Interactive Investor has told me this stock cannot be bought or sold unless they are given a phone call because it is missing essential documents for an oversea stock. Does anyone know what they are talking about? | johnrxx99

15/12/2023 15:14 | Looking positive , there is little overhead resistance from here to around 300p so you might be right. | kooba

14/12/2023 10:22 | US tech rally is starting to draw attention to such bombed out sector participants..if the portfolio valuations hold up and general appetite for growth companies comes back strongly could be the start of bigger narrowing of the discount to nav. | kooba
08/12/2023 18:26 | stop now, I'm fed up with form 8 / 8.3 / 8.5 whatever. | cordwainer
01/12/2023 17:33 | Yes should do ok in long term, although in this space I prefer those with plenty of cash - AUGM and MERC both look good right now. | riverman77
01/12/2023 17:07 | As they say "patience is a virtue..." Whether mental or not the LT risk / reward probably stacks in the patient's favour, which is how you have to approach all these large discount ITs, particularly those investing in illiquid assets. | mwj1959
01/12/2023 16:08 | the mental patient | zangdook
01/12/2023 15:23 | Little from today's presentation to make me think that the discount is going to materially shrink from here until the market backdrop shows clear and sustained signs of improving, so more realisations, NAV growing not shrinking etc. But to be honest, so long as the NAV doesn't plummet, we don't need it to move much to make a healthy return. An share price at £4, so still a 46% discount, would see the share price rise nearly 50%! One for the patient! | mwj1959
29/11/2023 08:54 | "Molten announces a conditional offer for subscription of up to 1,111,111 new Ordinary Shares via PrimaryBid" Another angel number (if that's the term?). | zangdook
29/11/2023 08:41 | It's exactly £2.4M, was there a cap? Very unlikely otherwise At least Molten got the issue away when the price had spiked up | mike the mechanic
29/11/2023 08:24 | That's a very peculiar number. Maybe only one, rich, Chinese person subscribed. | zangdook |
