I got a few recently. Well run company. Missed out on the long growth previously, but wasn't going to chase it up. |
Good to see some life returning to the shares. It seems to have been unfairly hammered given its cash pile and general resilience as a company. The reaction from the over-exuberence of mid 2021 has been overdone, probably by unwise and disappointed punters eagerness to depart. It now looks like a good recovery proposition (imo) although more sellers will no doubt appear as they reach their break-even point. |

The company - or rather its sp, is suffering from a hangover after its unjustified spike up in mid 2021 and the overreactive falls which followed. Result - a lot of disappointed punters who will exit as soon as they see enough recovery to sooth their nerves.
The company is stuffed with cash, dividend covered over 6.6x by cash flow etc. In fact it hasn't done much wrong to 'recover' from, more a question of perception. Given current investor sentiment, it may remain under-valued for some time, later to be 're-discovered' perhaps. |
The chart looks great here for a recovery play.. Once a close above 100p is confirmed - The door is wide open for a clear path to 150p subject to wider market sentiment. |

Good update.
With its resilient performance and strong balance sheet (plenty of cash) this looks very investable. |

Yes they could acquire something I suppose. Almost felt like it was a takeover candidate itself, the way it outperformed the market today, but didn't see anything too unusual trades or volume-wise. |
Technically, this is now well over the EMA8, usually when you see this, it'll keep going to the EMA35 at least for recovery, that price is £1.22p I'd expect it to recover to that position at least without any news. Before a larger recovery through to the £1.35p then the £1.63p area with fundamentals/news ... let's see how it pans out, looks very bullish to me. |
The mid 50's of early March was certainly a great bargain which caught me short of quickly available cash. I had earlier (before the growth warning) reckoned that ~135p was a reasonable valuation. I would now lower that by 20p or so.
However, I suspect it will have a struggle to get back into 3 figures until it demonstrates what actual growth it can achieve.
One potential upside is its cash reserve which puts it in a position to make an opportunistic grab for any distressed or lowly valued assets which fit or sensibly complement its mo. |
