Got a thumbs up in ADVFN's OMG report yesterday too. |
Liontrust increased their holding here, reported after hours |
...or move to the other thread... ;-) |
Nice one. Cheers mate! |
I agree, Colin. It's giving me rsi in my scrolling finger!
I've found out how to avoid the header altogether but it then applies to all threads, not selectively. Go to 'Settins (Help/Settings/Profile in the top right area of this page). There select 'General' which brings up a check list containing "Allow fast read access to BB threads" and alter the default of 'No' to 'Yes'. Don't forget to click on 'OK' at the end of the list before returning to the BB. Job done! |
I wish we could delete the endless block of text above our current discussion! Annoying… |
Looks like it was on a p/e of around 30 most of the time 2018-2020.
Quite high but presumably because of quality of earnings.
Given earnings increase then in a better market share price should be a fair bit higher. Especially if expansion continues reliably. |
Release of the full figures has freed up the market - sellers waiting to sell can now find buyers without knocking the price. What happens next depends on whether we run out of sellers (as one hopes) before the buyers have been satisfied.
PS: the 0.98p divi may be following their rules but wouldn't a full 1p have been more strategic? |
Great set of results and well done to Milan and the BOD. |
boadicea- I've been taking the same approach (I too held d4t4). Fundamentals look v strong here - under pinned by today's results. 'Positive momentum continuing into new financial year' sounds good. |

I held three shares which sat alpabetically adjacent in my portfolio - D4T4, DOTD and ECK. All of them became overpriced and suffered severely after mid 2021 in the 'market rotation'. I am now out of one of them and had signicantly reduced in the other two. However, this is the one that appears to have the better recovery prospects and the resources to swallow any distressed bolt-on bargains which may crop up along rhe way, so gradually rebuilding my position. |
I got a few recently. Well run company. Missed out on the long growth previously, but wasn't going to chase it up. |
Good to see some life returning to the shares. It seems to have been unfairly hammered given its cash pile and general resilience as a company. The reaction from the over-exuberence of mid 2021 has been overdone, probably by unwise and disappointed punters eagerness to depart. It now looks like a good recovery proposition (imo) although more sellers will no doubt appear as they reach their break-even point. |
Computer trades maybe? |
Anyone know why tiny trades keep cropping up - reading back in today's trades there's 7, 5,2,1,1,4,2 ? Surely nobody's actually trading in those quantities? |
RNS - New CFO appointed. Good record and hope he measures up to the last one |
Good comment boadicea. I continue to top up when I can. A well run company with good vision imo. |
The company - or rather its sp, is suffering from a hangover after its unjustified spike up in mid 2021 and the overreactive falls which followed. Result - a lot of disappointed punters who will exit as soon as they see enough recovery to sooth their nerves. The company is stuffed with cash, dividend covered over 6.6x by cash flow etc. In fact it hasn't done much wrong to 'recover' from, more a question of perception. Given current investor sentiment, it may remain under-valued for some time, later to be 're-discovered' perhaps. |
The chart looks great here for a recovery play.. Once a close above 100p is confirmed - The door is wide open for a clear path to 150p subject to wider market sentiment. |
Just finished disappointed they're not spending the cash pile. |
Good update. With its resilient performance and strong balance sheet (plenty of cash) this looks very investable. |

Maybe you're right, but Liontrust just bought another 145,000 shares this a.m. so I must assume that they see something here.I like this company. Appears well managed and has a great product. |
Shorters getting hold of this one now. Watch out |
