Whilst a special dividend would not go a miss. I can't see it in this climate. However I can see a significant % increase in the next dividend payout.

We now have a breakout and I would like to see it find support at £2.90 and then £3 before the next set of results come out.

Imo its all about people stopping at home rather than trading down and I think the trend will continue into 2010, this is my perfect JDW hedge. And when the company releases rns like the last one the only way can be up. I think a special div could be on the cards soon.

Tipped to rise from 290 to 390 in 12 months,by Share Crazy, trouble is Dominos has been a bit of a recession beater. The pizzas aren't cheap compared to Goodfellas but they are not tainted by being downmarket.
Essentially I think the market has been for the majority who have kept our jobs, but have not wanted to be seen dining out at Pizza Express as its not cool to be splashing the cash.....my fear is that 08/09 devotees will be up for a change next year.
This is hardly a unique or inimitable product.

Hi Royalt i sold my entire holding the day before the results came out at 287 every time previously they put out good results and the share price went down so i sold the day before.I too will be keeping my eye on these having held them for the last two years and got my money back more or less would like to go againg and try and get it right next time but with a p/e of 29 i think they do look a tadd expensive.

Sold out my entire holding this morning at 294. Think we might be in for a market correction and Dom might go down with it. Could be wrong though, but just being cautious now after the 50% odd general market rally.

Although I do hope we get past 300p for those who are still holding.

Good results again. Imo this is one of the few companies that have done really well in the recession.

gipps, momentum says UP. Look at the volumes also. Theres some serious accumulation going on. Most likely the fund managers again, spare cash sloshing around, DOM has always been a good bet over the years.

Solid favourite of the fundies. Shorts will get burnt. Thursdays movement was a classic bear trap...I'll say it once more, there's better short stock candidates out there. Leave St DOM alone :)

Oh deary me...Don't know why shorters bother, its not a shorting stock...Theres more shortable stocks out there on the market. Hope they have realised that now.

I agree trt - whilst I think the stock is solid I believe it struggles to find continued support at these levels. into profit nicely now.

Well i remeber not that long ago when they were over £3 and since then they still keep banging in solid results and growth so i hope to get my money back one day and maybe some profit mean while they have been paying a good dividend
