In the spread at least! Had a go at a quote on it yesterday & MMs wanted full 9p offer (8.33p to sell), so is a tight market (albeit one being killed by the spread).

Yes, having a good starting price is always helpful...lol...

I did buy a few cheap ones, but my average is still close to 20p, which if all went optimally, I could possibly get my money back, but rather than dwell on what I paid, I have to judge what I think is achievable now, and over what timeframe.

My inclination is that a range of 12-15p is more likely as I think they will struggle to sell some of the assets, but may fare a little better with the main assets.

Hopefully the process will not take as long as intimated.

Ah ok sorry titonboy

Good luck with this one, I'm in from start of recent uptick so perhaps some rose tinted glasses being applied, but management are incentivised now to perform to a much higher level IMO linked to returns to shareholders so let's hope they are decent at their job and get the share price to double from here!

BTEM probably feeling the same. I've the advantage of being in below 8p, tempered by having previously lost on DCI about 7 years ago. Think I'll use some mental accounting to ignore the earlier loss ;)

QS99,

The stated NAV at the last year end was higher than that, but the company have recently updated their forecast of returns to shareholders, and they are in the range I mentioned previously.

I have long been sceptical of the quoted NAV, and the new fee arrangement leaves a sour taste, as I am in a lot higher than the current price.

It's about recouping what I can from a poor investment.

Thought NAV was higher than 22p at moment? But would be happy with north of 15!

Let's hope they continue the good news flow

The directors are forecasting a return to shareholders of between 12.7p - 22p over the next three years. Let's hope they can sell all of the assets for a decent price!

The other good reason to sell is - is there a better home for the money? Have to say there's not a lot catching my eye atm. Not so much that everything's fully valued, but that there's not a lot around that seems "cheap".

a profit is not a profit until banked mate....so well done! however, with NAV 3 X higher than this (DYOR) and with management newly incentivised to get realisations materially above today's SP, I am holding on for 15p++ all IMO, but today's rise is a nice continuance of the move towards breakout and 10p and beyond...IMO

Can't go bust taking a profit, well done. In for the long(er) term myself, I seem to always regret selling things (& sometimes buying them too of course).

maytrees,

Well done. It's going to be a long, hard haul, and there may be opportunities to get back in along the way.

Very much depends on newsflow on disposals. Hopefully a continued drift up. I just hope that the managers try a little harder than trying to achieve 50% of book!

Greetings tiltonboy and tx

You certainly answered though the rationale remains I fear a matter for the pros - not I!
