It's all there. And this is the best time to get in. I'm adding in small amounts every day.

The suggested reason is in the seeking alpha piece, linked earlier, but here is the relevant bit:

3) On 4 August, DJI's London broker, Mirabaud Securities, released a new research note. Mirabaud is forecasting 2017 profits of £43.7m, or an EPS of 13.7p. Mirabaud is valuing the stock on Aim at £1.75 (up from the previous £1.69 target) based on a PE of 13x. However technology stocks on Aim are not nearly as well-understood (or valued) as in the US. Further, China-related stocks on Aim have been tarnished by some recent scandals. It is likely that a technology growth story like DJI could command a PE of more like 30x on Nasdaq. Simply doubling the projected Mirabaud 2017 PE assumption to 26x would indicate a price target of £3.50, which is equivalent to an undemanding 13x revenue. If the company delivers on its promises, there should be good upside to this from new business developments and contracts which the company describes as having "significant potential to enhance shareholder value."

Am I invisible or is there a reason why the share price will be at £2 after the nasdaq ipo?

Worth reading the whole article, but here is the summary:

In summary, I think the stock should have good support at its current price of around £1 on Aim ahead of the listing, especially given a very low forecast earnings multiple for 2017 (7.4x). There should be steady momentum in the stock over the next two months as the listing approaches, marked by new venture announcements and first revenues in August. There is, of course, always risk associated with exposure to Chinese government entities.

Once the shares are listed on Nasdaq, people around the company believe they should quickly re-rate to the £2-3 mark. It is worth bearing in mind that a £4 share price is equivalent to around a US$1.07bn market cap, which is really not a particularly demanding in the context of this kind of stock on Nasdaq. If the Chinese lift their suspension on state lotteries, as is hoped for in coming months, this would probably provide further uplift for DJI as it has a number of lucrative contracts on hold in this space.

I don't understand the 'low' rise predictions from posters and brokers. Logically, this is a £3 share before end of year, assuming Nasdaq IPO goes smoothly. As Paul Ensor states, the shares will be fungible (Nasdaq price=AIM price), ergo c.$4+/share as it isn't possible to list for less on Nasdaq.

See article by Paul Ensor Seeking Alpha, posted yesterday reaffirming his recommendation to buy DJI and discussing NASDAQ listing and US broker publicity. Long article but well worth the read. I have held DJI shares for the last 2 years which has been a rollercoaster ride. Hopefully the patients will pay dividends soon.

Bscuit, fair concerns, but Xinhua tried to provide payment processing to there customer base by developing there own platform which didn't work! They partnered DJI because there platform was proven technology from its use in the lottery market. The deal is a rolling contract 3-5 years, which uses DJI technology & employee base. The cash into the business is controlled by DJI finance team, both in the UK & China & Mr Dong the CEO of the Xinhua partner company also now sits on the DJI board locking him in to the company.

I hold, but admit to concerns. The lotteries were lost --tho' they may come back-- and now we're onto mobile payments. 8 employees in UK and 300 in China in a little over a year. Why didn't Xinhua or another do it themselves first? Could Xinhua take the deal away? Could the monies, which must mostly be in China disappear?

rizzle, theclangers, thank you for posting those numbers. It is interesting to note that the figures are based on just 5% using the app next year. However, this figure is likely to increase substantially as more and more use the mobile payment facility, indicating substantial future growth. On that basis the 169p share price prediction should be easily surpassed in the not too distant future.

I think that this share is still largely off the radar going by the number of posts here; when revenue info starts to be rns'd then I think it will grab some attention.
