Yes maybe Genisis, but I'd rather they waited and have the money rolling in big time before selling it (for way more) in a few years ...

Why wait 3 to 5 years with the value of the company climbing each year.
Once the full potential of the company comes out next year, one of the big boys will buy it up with some loose change

Genises, do you mean a takeover by next year?

I think give it 3 to 5 years, when the market cap is closer to 10 Billion Dollars.

A 10% market cap of present Tencent valuation would equate to over £70 per share here.

Can't see the company being around next year.
Wonder how much the Chinese party officials are dipping into accumulating shares in the company.
In the mean time the Americans can buy in before the listing in the USA

Good research rizzle. Mobile top ups: 0.2% Utility bill payments: 0.2% Traffic fines: 0.5%--------
Assuming the Xinhua app captures no more than 5% of the relevant consumer spend
next year, on which a 0.2% commission will be earned, this translates into £58 million
of Xinhua-related net revenue. On top of that, assuming the Shandong lottery app
attracts no more than 1 million downloads out of 15 million regular players, this
translates into a further £25 million of net revenue. As a result, we forecast net
attributable earnings for 2017 of £27.8 million. Applying a reasonable forward P/E
rating of 10 times gives us a 12-month target price of 169 pence. We recommend
investors BUY the stock at current levels.
DJI Holdings will charge a commission of at least 0.2% on all utility payments & mobile
phone top-ups, a market that was worth over £450 billion in 2015, whilst charging as
much as 3.75% on traffic fine payments, a market that was worth over £30 billion.
In exchange for these exclusive rights, DJI Holdings has agreed to make an upfront
payment to Xinhua of £500K for each province covered by the agreements, as well as
up to 40% of the profits earned through the agreement to its key business partners –
the local Xinhua province and Xinhuatong, the Xinhua associate that owns and
operates the news app.
In our forecasts, we assume that the expanded in-app functionality is rolled out across
the 12 Chinese provinces party to this agreement over the next twelve months. We
assume that the market share achieved through the app by 2017 will reach 3% for
mobile top-ups, 5% for utility bill payments and 16% for traffic fine payments. And
we assume that in the first two years, over 20% of the business is generated through
B2B partners (such as Taobao), who are keen to generate sales leads for the business.

The Mirabaud report published in April gives an indication of the various expected commission rates for those wanting to crunch a few numbers (see page 3).

Up on record volume ... this stock on occasion trades over 1.5M shares per day albeit rarely. It looks as though today was a record in that 1.827M (maybe in addition some late trades will be printed ?) were traded compared with the prior record of 1.715M on the 22nd March 2016.

ayesha4. I owe you an apology. I was at the GM/AGM; I did not respond to your questions whether I was at that time.

Mercer is probably right. 500.com is being heavily shorted; the number of shorts doubled last week.

When I spoke to Mercer last month, he said there was big money coming out of 500.com and those funds want to invest that cash into DJI. Just a waiting game but rewards will be fantastic.

Well it may, my point was that there could be considerable downside DJI at any time given its meteoric rise and the current state of the markets in general that have been rising on QE money. These same markets look close to a bit of profit taking. You assume DJI is immune to markets sliding. Well i dont think so.

If you look at PANR for instance you have another company, very close to very big news indeed, the difference is PANR are sitting on a huge amount of oil already discovered, so they are covered to a degree.

It may well be DJI dont slide, stay where they are, then rise in a few weeks time when we get more news. I though, dont want my hard earned money sitting in shares for longer than absolutely necessary. Time will tell, Good Luck ALL

Earlier i said this morning RNS looked like a holding RNS to stop the price slipping any further. This you ridiculed and you then said

'All good and big news for the Nasdaq listing to bounce off'

I think you have fallen in love with this share and no longer are able to see the possible dangers.

I still like the share but am very wary of companies such as this that have a very torrid record of coming unstuck in China.

Each to his or her own, but todays Share Price movement rather sides with me, not you or the others wearing Rose Tints.

Watch this absolutely sky rocket over the coming months. Sure as hell squire would have bought back by then ... At a higher price. This is a no brainer at this price.

You can bet your bottom dollar the institutions that handed over £40 million to DJI know exactly what our cut is.

Yes bobbyshilling, would be nice to know what small % DJI take from each transaction.
It maybe a set amount rather than a % Don't think they have said what it is.

When you analyse it, this is a very big announcement indeed. In the space of just over three weeks, since the AGM announcement, the Company has achieved the following:1. Signed an additional province - which must be one of the biggest due to the fact that the 10 signed to date are the 10 biggest of the 12, and the 12 account for 70% of all billings in the country across utilities etc.2. Achieved whatever has been needed to get all 10 provinces in a position to launch and commence to earn revenues from September 2016, compared to a previous timetable of end of the year.3. Signed agreements with a number of channel partners, whom are some of the largest corporations in China, and, based on the recent placing documentation, announcements, and the reports of Mike Walters, would appear to include Tencent and Alibaba. Both of these companies are talking about the enormity of the market for mobile and digital payments in China, as for advertising revenues and the mining of customer data.4. The CEO has confirmed directly that he expects more news to be announced over the coming weeks (not months or years, but weeks). When you see what Tencent is being valued at and look at the remarkable position that DJI has got itself into you can't help but get excited. This isn't just a ten times multiple on the current share price... mark my words... and by all means remind me of this within the next 6 to 9 months.Well done to all those that are in the stock; and, in my opinion, "be quick" to all those that aren't!

I read the rns as saying that the total billing is £400b and currently about 15% is paid by technology means so about £60 billion - huge - with scope to increase massively. I have no idea how much DJI will earn from this and how it is arranged, but even at just 1/10th penny in the pound that amounts to £60m revenue per annum. That's without the lottery!

I don't know to be honest if my calculations are anywhere near accurate and would appreciate input from others who may know more about how these payment systems work, but for sure the numbers are very big indeed and the word 'significant' has been used in more than one rns. Oh, and revenues starting next qtr too.

Yes, 10 out of 12 Squire, and each one of these is bigger than entire nations in Europe, what's so difficult to understand!

Your tune is getting boring btw, and your silly games are clear to read ... if you don't believe in the company perhaps you should take your money elsewhere?
