19/7/2016 11:45 | It's a no brainer here, what an opportunity, ASOS take 2 imo dyor LONDON (Alliance News) - DJI Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has raised GBP11.5 million through the placing of 12.1 million shares at 95.00 pence each. The Chinese lottery and payment technology provider said it raised the funds through blue-chip long-term investors, enabling it to further accelerate its repositioning as an internet technology provider. DJI added that following on from the GBP29.0 million it raised at the beginning of the month, it has significantly progressed discussions with potential partners and is confident it will announce additional contracts in the coming weeks. "We are delighted to now have a number of the world's leading institutional investors as shareholders of the group. Our discussions with potential partners are now well ahead of where we had envisaged only a few weeks ago. These very significant opportunities will further demonstrate to the market that DJI is now a substantial internet technology portal. We look forward to making further announcements in due course," Chief Executive Darren Mercer said in a statement. Shares in DJI were trading down 0.3% at 116.20 pence on Tuesday morning. 19/7/2016 11:43 | Think this says it really 1 July 2016 have allowed discussions with additional partners to progress significantly and the Board is confident of announcing, in the coming weeks, additional contracts with significant potential to enhance shareholder value. | ![]() markie225
19/7/2016 11:18 | Let the moaners sell and11, they'll come running back when this shoots up, the £££ Hold tight imo, the clues were in the RNS, lots to come ... and as you say, it is impressive to raise such an amount (before the Nasdaq listing), Institutions coming back for second helpings so soon after the first. | ![]() topazfrenzy
19/7/2016 11:01 | In this market! To raise this sort of money is very impressive. Institutions don't guess! The have anylists to calculate risk/reward... All looks good to me... Very exciting few months coming... | and11
19/7/2016 10:47 | You are guessing. 40 million more shares now that's not guessing. It's taking the P###sss. | ![]() bwilder2
19/7/2016 10:16 | Institutions are only interested in big chunks, thus the offering is not on the open market and at a discount, this is how it works. If they were to bid for this amount of shares on the open market they would have to pay £2-3 I am guessing and I doubt they would want them for that price at this stage, come next year £3 may seem cheap. | ![]() topazfrenzy

19/7/2016 10:14 | Last chance to get in under £1.50 imo The autumn is going to see this move up quite dramatically! | ![]() topazfrenzy
19/7/2016 09:24 | That's the point this isn't a typical aim stock looking for £1's & pence to survive. Look at its competitors in the online portal space in China! All valued in the billions/ 10's of Billions... This money sets them up to hopefully deliver great returns for all investors... | and11
19/7/2016 09:03 | Yes but the institutions came to us asking and so there shouldn't have been the need for any discount. I can see both sides to this hence my post earlier. We are where we are now and we just need to see what the company comes up with in the coming weeks that seems to have got them so excited. Things are clearly moving much quicker than they anticipated which means the Chinese must be very keen to get things going. In general dealings with the Chinese are often slow and protracted and so I am very encouraged by this. | ![]() gary1966
19/7/2016 08:57 | I hold DJI and intend to hang on for the journey. But the latest fund raise surprises me. If we are going to see some transformational agreements being announced in the next few weeks why not wait to raise additional funds after these announcements when the share price will likely be a lot higher and the shareholder dilution less? If/When we list on Nasdaq there will be further dilution too. I have no problem with DJI issuing new shares to grow the company and run the business but given the exciting story the company is able to tell, I feel we are selling ourself too cheaply to these "blue chip and loyal institutions" who won't think twice about cut and running when it suits them - regardless of what the BOD tell us. | ![]() dlm2602
19/7/2016 08:45 | Bwilder, 22 % discount isn't all that bad mind. I've seen 45 ad 50s on AIM. | ![]() zeberdie
19/7/2016 08:41 | Felix I would rather it was Chinese participants:-) | ![]() zeberdie
19/7/2016 08:40 | Helping institutional investors says it all. Never mind the punters that bought at 120p yesterday. That just shows you what the board think of its shareholders. | ![]() bwilder2
19/7/2016 08:35 | I suspect they need bigger free floats of shares for Nasdaq so this is one way of doing it whilst greasing the City spivs at the same time- guess its keeping it for UK spivs as opposed to the US spivs down the line | ![]() felix99
19/7/2016 08:30 | What's the problem!!! 40million sets them up to be a huge player in this market! This is not a small aim company shelling out shares to create dilution just to survive... This is game changing!!! In a multi trillion pound market place... | and11
19/7/2016 08:22 | 40 Million? | ![]() bwilder2
19/7/2016 08:15 | 40 million it has to stop but when? | ![]() bwilder2
19/7/2016 08:13 | This is a very positive move! I would suggest this was an institutional investors that was unable to participate due to timings of original placing & Britex. They must be impressed with what The future holds for DJI. As the rns states global institutional investors & news to follow. This sets them up nicely to be a big player in this market. Focus on the potentially! Mcap upwards 2-3billion. Share price of £8 to £15 a share... Great news. | and11
19/7/2016 08:03 | I'm 80% positive for it, it's just never nice to see any BOD repeatedly placing shares. | ![]() zeberdie
19/7/2016 07:58 | Has mercer got curly hair and a shell suit ? | ![]() zeberdie
19/7/2016 07:57 | Frankly the 40 million is actually 30 million for the strengthening we do know about and another 10 million for forward work DM and the board know about. If youre going into the NASDAQ you will need the dosh, and the balance sheet will look very good. This company has a unique position in China and its market, but dont worry about reading this board, just watch the future events dear boy. | ![]() squiresquire
19/7/2016 07:54 | Yes, not the news I was expecting and also disappointed with yet another placing so soon after the last one, giving them the benefit of the doubt but another placing and I will be out. | ![]() cormask |
