Week 1.
Company submits application for listing and Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Staff begins its review.

Weeks 2-3.
Staff completes its preliminary review and prepares comment letter.

Weeks 3-4.

.
Weeks5-6.

We KNOW they will be applying for a NASDAQ listing very soon.

it would appear that peeps have woken up to the disparity between the MV of DJI and that of 500.com listed on Nasdaq highlighted by an article referred to above. All in the public domain.

Great chart here, and having followed this story via Mike Walters I've decided to take a first stake. I particularly like shares that consolidate just over the £1 level, as they have the potential to becomes multiples of invested value, if they deliver. Roll on the NASDAQ listing, which will hopefully give some more ballast to what is still a highly risky AIM share, on that riskiest of markets - China.

Yes agee it's nasdaq listing valuation should be way above that of 500.com
Dji will be looked at as a tech company not a lottery provider, therefore should be given a much higher valuation.

Sp moving up nicely let's hope it holds.

Thanks topazfrenzy. Particularly interesting final paragraphs:

Valuation

DJI is currently trading on a market capitalisation of £172m (US$222m). By comparison 500.com, listed on Nasdaq, trades on a market capitalization of US$715m with a much narrower (lottery service provider) business model.

Alipay, as part of Ant Finance, which is in the same space, has recently privately raised $3.5bn on a valuation of $60bn. Ant Finance is expected to list in Shanghai this year, a high profile event, probably in the range of US$80-$100bn. Ant Finance is then expected to list in Hong Kong next year. In this context, it is not difficult to envisage DJI as the only listed play in Chinese smartphone e-payments, being valued at a market capitalization of at least $2-3bn. This equates to a London share price of £8-£12 (vs its current share price of around £1). The forward growth story suggests valuations that will considerably larger.

I understand that DJI is currently submitting its application to the SEC for the Nasdaq listing. Obviously the listing is dependent upon that application procedure, and I certainly don't want to pre-empt the decision of US regulators. In any event, given that the company is already listed in London, investors can be secure in being able to trade this increasingly liquid growth story.

The information in this note has been taken from publicly available announcements.

topazfrenzy - thank you. and an apt reminder that the Ali deal with AG Tech valued AG Tech at $517 million or £407 million; and with 500.com valued at $733 million at the close on Friday or £577 million, DJI is undervalued at £186 million, and especially so, when and if DJI lists on Nasdaq.

With the markets back on track in the US and all time highs about to be taken out, I see a listing on Nasdaq very soonish, with eager institutional money getting on board, especially after the last fundraising. Strength in numbers as they say.

Amazed anyone is selling these at this stage, so much to come here imo.

Have a nice weekend!

5 x 50,000 trades/buys are very interesting, someone must be confidant.
All those small trades are a mystery. I know some brokers allow commission free trading after so many (lots of) trades placed and the smaller the amount of shares traded the tighter the spread.

China market: Xiaomi to launch 3rd-party mobile payment services
Staff reporter, Taipei; Joseph Tsai, DIGITIMES [Monday 4 July 2016]
Xiaomi Technology will launch Xiaomi Pay third-party mobile payment services in the China market in late third-quarter or early fourth-quarter 2016. The services are being tested in cooperation with local banks, according to a Chinese-language Tencent report citing company executive Hong Feng.

Alibaba's Alipay and Tencent's WeChat Pay currently dominate 90% of China's third-party online payment market.

Some smartphone players such as Samsung Electronics and Huawei have cooperated with Alipay to expand their payment services, but Xiaomi is unlikely to be able to use the same strategy as its smartphones do not support Alipay's fingerprint payments.

Squires

I understand were your coming from, but hopefully once it lists on the Nasdaq then some of this risk comes down due to more rules reg's laws etc. So makes the case stronger. Let's hope they list soon

The difference with this company is that they have been operating in China for almost 10 years & have built up incredible relationships both in the private sector & govenment. There key partners are mainly governments entities in many provinces. There are always risks but this company has passed through this stage in there drvrlopment... Very exciting oportunity & should be an interesting 6 months for revenue generation... With funding complete & 35m+ cash in the bank they can really push on... GLA
