What is the point in buying a new phone from some spotty nerd who is trying to sell you a new contract, insurance and an extended warranty none of which you want and all of which are overpriced.

I am on sim only. £12 per month. I get 4 Gig data, free international roaming, unlimited messages and unlimited calls on 3. This with a galaxy S6 which has been given a new lease of life with a kiwibird battery case.

I could have a new phone but it is vanity.

Will probably buy from hong kong or amazon or second hand on ebay if I do update my phone .

No but the main reason for the profit warning was people not updating their phones as often and if RW's survey is correct this looks set to continue.

The future is sim only,you can now get 5 gig data unlimited text and calls for £10 a month.

There are a few who will buy the latest phone however expensive it is but for most the benefits don't justify the cost,which is more or less what Seb said.
