Tim 3I'm thinking there's a good reason for them having premium phone X and then the 8. Will people be pushed into paying the extra for the x purely to look good or will they take up the 8 which is still miles ahead of the 7 at a more affordable price...... Apple aren't stupid.What this does for DC. ........we will have to see.

Time 3I agree with your point about price but £50 a month, so what will be the attitude of young and old alike.As Mr Daley used to say "stick it on the tab Dave".I'll get one but what I would say is that I'd skip to the 12 next time thus missing a year.I thought Apple performed well last night post launch. At the close they were down just 0.4% .Shame you can't get the phone a bit sooner but I'm sure there will be reports of Apple fans stinking tents up outside stores 2 months before it hits the stores.Have a look on YouTube at that lad in Australia who is the first to get his iPhone and then he drops it whilst being interviewed ....classic .

From reading social media looks like the X will be a success despite the price.

Which will be good for DC but maybe take a while as supply may be limited till 2018 imo.

I'm a fan of the X phone but I can't see the point in the 8. Bit like a Porsche 911 and a Boxster. Why go for second best!!!

New watch will need bolt on to contracts.Upgrades etc is very good news here.AR sales too,If the share price lags then expect a bid for DC.Way too cheap.

Apple wireless charger not available till next year.

I Phone 8 looks similar to I Phone 7 cant see many rushing to buy it.

I Phone X looks good but expensive (nearly double the price of the 7) and not available till November.(Possible supply chain issues)
