Time for James and Harrison to depart!Pigs with their snouts in the trough. They and a lot of Directors knew what was on the cards months ago when there was the large share sell off. Sad that some II's and PI's have been shafted.

must admit that this fad of upgrading smartphones will stop.
Apple are overvalued because of that fact.

American Idiot: well it was a "merger of equals" at 320p, right? The share price is around half of that today, so one might position you can buy DXNS (the old Dixons ticker) which appears to be growing and performing 'relatively' OK, with Carphone thrown in for free!

The shareprice will soon be back to pre Dixons / Carphone Warehouse merger at this rate.

Going to research on this later. Perhaps this is a bargain now ?

Pretty obvious why people are holding on to their handsets for longer - two years ago iPhones were £25-£35 a month on a decent contract...now when people are renewing (3 phones in my house in the past two months) they are £50-£60...your average joe won't want to spend that much.Haven't renewed any of mine as I am waiting for the price to drop and new phones are not that much different to what I already have

Allowing large US corporations such as Amazon and Ebay to operate on a NEAR ZERO TAX RATE is killing UK based home grown retailers.

Either change the tax laws or switch out the lights

---------------------------------------------------------------------------->>

Spot on!

Most of the folk who appease these large US corporations are Tory backers and Brexiteers.

Personally i would not be a buyer here at any price.

Liabilities too high plus that pension deficit

a dividend cut or wipeout looks likely in the future

no asset backing

The TRUE pe ratio is much higher when you adjust for liabilities

just my 2 cents

smartypants called it yesterday, well done. was considering shorting it myself to cover my losses but didn't in the end :(

My holding is now so small it's not even worth putting it in something else. Nightmare!

Another example of high street retailer thinking it can escape the inevitable. I'm afraid the retail world has changed, unless there is a dramatic shift in Government tax (business-income) policy to enable bricks and mortar outfits to compete. As much a debate about what kind of town centers we want. Expect to hear about closures in smaller towns. imo
