I think you have to look at the bigger picture with Director buys/sells and not just take them at face value but the fact that several directors have been selling in the last few months despite heavy falls and not always small amounts does not exactly inspire confidence.

smartypants it is beyond me also, I have made some good gains going off analyst recommendations in the past but this has not played out at all. (similar story at IPO and SHP!)

Relentless drops. You'd think DC made a loss, paid no divi and banks calling it in.Of which none. Now worth less than before it merged with cpw.

Worth a read about one offs maybe the reason for negativity.

It basically says if you strip out £50m in "one offs" figures fall short of estimates.

Hey Gerd,I just did the simple maths based on £1000 x 0.59 = 590 based on the old share price. But you've answered my question, that's it's now worth £760 so thanks for that.Much appreciated

Now I am confused.

Paying £1000 at 59p a share would give you about 1695 share. not 590. At 0.155 a share you would now have 262 * 290p £760.

590 would only be 91 shares at £2.90 which is not a lot.

All I need your help please, let me try and explain:I bought my dad £1000 of DXNS shares prior to consolidation at 0.59 per share so 590 shares. He wants to give me £1k cash but said I can keep the shares instead, and any loss to the current price he'll pay the extra to me.So my question is what is the current price if I were to sell 590 shares at the old consolidated price?

Who ??
There is no Who ?
price 290-291
there is a buy at 291
Now watch the price...watch it change without any trades..
What do I mean?..well
Price has moved now it is 289.5-290
no trade but now it is 289-289.5
So now the seller (who sold to the buyer) at 291 (Short), can now buy back at 289.5
Repeat and repeat
no trade, price bumps bak up to 290-291
It does not even need to move..can simply gain from the spread the no trade-manipulation of the order book, is just greed
Greed is good..they can do it, so they do

No, I'm afraid it doesn't make sense because you haven't explained to me who they are making the profit from. They can only either be making the profit from sellers or the people on the other side of the derivative instrument.

How can you not believe "in all this shorter manipulation"..?
Call it any name you wish, but it is happening before your own eyes.
"it is a zero sum game", well you have to read the volume in a different way.
You might argue that since the share price appears to be at a 12month/1,2,5 year low..no one can be selling (shorting) at a profit, since to make again the shorter must be able to by back at an ever lower low.... well for the last"x" months, it has been pushed lower and lower.
But it is not that the shorter has an ever increasing short possition, but clearly has a very clever and effective trading program to profit from very small packets of sales and the gain/profit is accumalated over a period of time, not by the gain of a single larger trade...
Does that make sence..if t does can you explain it back to me?
Basicaly the share price is being shafted by the player with the tools to do so.

Curiouser and curiouser! Liberum also said buy with a target of 430p. I'm not one that believes in all this shorter manipulation all the time as it is a zero sum game and no-one ever tells me who they are constantly making profits from. PIs will only own a small proportion of the shares and those who think they can trade will only own a minuscule amount. It might happen over short periods but this has been going on for a long time. If you think the sellers are wrong then it should be an opportunity rather than a threat.

Just watched Seb on sky news and it was all positive , growth in all markets, not too worried about drop in pound . Apparently they have flogged 40000 fans in the last 2 weeks. Think it's time to top up at these prices.
