08/3/2019 07:06 | What the market has been waiting for? | alter ego
07/3/2019 20:23 | There's still hope then Reptile3. I don't need yet another buying opportunity, but this is certainly it. | lord gnome
07/3/2019 19:22 | If you're into technical analysis it appears that today's close at 104 is bang on the line of support linking 64 pence around the middle of July 2017 and 81 pence in the middle of April 2018. If this holds true we should expect a recovery from here..... just trying to be positive! | reptile3
07/3/2019 16:23 | But there's another one along shortly lol. | basem1
07/3/2019 16:23 | Just been looking at Appalachian gas prices and nothing adverse seems to be going on | shanklin
07/3/2019 16:02 | Or, more simply, if you buy today, you don't get the divi. | lord gnome
07/3/2019 15:45 | Thanks for the clarification. So I understand by adding today I will get the dividends only on the chunk I had since before today. | alotto
07/3/2019 15:43 | yes, the term "ex div" means you buy excluding the dividend. The effect doesn't usually last long but most stocks seem to drop on the day by the amount of the dividend all other things being equal. | alter ego
07/3/2019 15:30 | I didn't realise that the last day to buy to get the dividends was yesterday. that makes sense | alotto
07/3/2019 15:13 | alotto, if you buy today you dont get the latest dividend so the shares are worth slightly less than yesterday | alter ego
07/3/2019 14:55 | Cfro, how can the ex div date have a negative impact on the share price? I would expect the exact opposite, people buying to get the dividends. | alotto
07/3/2019 13:28 | Ex div date partly to blame for todays movement. | cfro
07/3/2019 12:48 | That's the long term uptrend gone. Looks like we are now trading sideways in a narrow range. Oh well, sit tight and count my dividends. | lord gnome
07/3/2019 12:43 | Just another bargain buying opportunity. In twelve months from now we will have had 8p or more in dividends and look back in wonderment at how the price was so low . | lab305
07/3/2019 12:25 | Ex D today so that accounts for 2p of our loss. | basem1
07/3/2019 12:23 | Am I understanding well, is DGOC considering a move to the main market? Or I just dreamed about it? | alotto
07/3/2019 11:32 | Certainly seems like a hasty seller around. Might need to close that gap to 95p. | phowdo
07/3/2019 11:23 | silly me - why did I bother. Note to self this share is not liked. | nimbo1
05/3/2019 22:22 | price really does seem bonkers when the situation is summarised like that. Good article thanks | nimbo1
05/3/2019 17:53 | Great Vox article, thanks.. | cfro
05/3/2019 17:45 | yes an excellent article, thanks for posting | bountyhunter
05/3/2019 17:29 | Well done yupawiese ,good article. | lab305
05/3/2019 11:41 | Nothing particularly new in article for regulars here, but posted for any new potential investors looking in. | yupawiese2010
05/3/2019 10:56 | LG, Certainly the value number is historic. | shanklin
05/3/2019 10:34 | That's the big problem I have with Stockopedia, Shanklin. Their numbers game is backward looking. Look at their rating on SQZ for example - 'Expensive Junk' wtf! That will change once they crunch the full year results due next month. Like everything else, Stockopedia is just a source of ideas. You still have to dyor and draw your own conclusions. | lord gnome |
