carcosa - they were originally given 35 mill shares, so seem to have dumped just over 5 million before yesterday's announcement.

Will be sold by the end of December- strike price is 1p below the acquisition price but also above the current share price Depends if there is enough appetite to mop them up.

Well they cannot be sold for months and the large investors paid higher than the current price. I purchased more this morning.

Ok, so there we have it. 22 millions sold at 114p, which wasn't bad. We do however now have an overhang of a further 7 million shares that didn't find a new home. That will weigh on the share price for a while.

Surprised at the lack of an RNS. I expected that the shares would have been pre-sold before the announcement and that all we were waiting for was the confirmation RNS. Clearly not.

A 'lock-in' is more akin to a conditional sale agreement. Typically the intention to sell shares has to be notified to the company several days before the transaction and the company has to agree for it to go ahead. Individuals have a wider range of opt-out clauses than a company. The shares also have to be sold through the company's broker to effect an orderly market (although the broker may use third party brokerages if they wish). Sometimes the shares themselves carry over the lock-in agreement so anyone who buys them is subject to the same conditions.

In summary a lock-in prevents the shareholder from selling on the open market to prevent a disorderly market event.

Weird..... originally they recieved 35 mill shares & were subject to an 8 month lock-in (from Oct 18). It would appear they've already sold a chunk of stock & want rid of the rest

Anyone any thoughts on tonight's announcement. TFI selling their stake of around 5%. The company and brokers must be confident as the sale closes at 7.45am tomorrow morning. At least that's the way I read it but I may be wrong.

Don't see what the problem is, after all, the wetter the gas the better - NGLs sell for about twice the gas BOE

I'd look up PDP if I were you..... or if you can't be bothered, maybe ponder why they've hedged around 5,500bbls/day of NGLs thru 2019.

The fact that there isn't much there is not my fault but at least it looks ahead unlike the old one that was over 6 months out of date.

Company website has just been revamped with at least a financial calendar .
Good news Standard Life have now taken a 5% stake more than countering the 1% sold by Premier yesterday.
