20/12/2021 20:04 | My SIPP is with Hargreaves Lansdown. Divi paid in full and on time. As mentioned above they need you to complete a W-8 BEN before you trade the stock. | ![]() br1an
20/12/2021 19:14 | The US and UK have an agreement to not take withholding tax in pensions. That’s why we need to fill in the W8Ben form. I receive a multitude of US companies divis in my sipp without any withholding tax automatically with ii. | ![]() ramellous
20/12/2021 18:58 | Whose that with and are they bought on LSE or US market. I cant find out how to get paid the full divi without tax withholding being deducted | ![]() sunbed44
20/12/2021 18:44 | Zero percent. | ![]() br1an
20/12/2021 17:36 | Does anybody know what the latest tax withholding rules are in SIPPs as they seem to keep changing wherever I read up on them | ![]() sunbed44
20/12/2021 16:07 | I'm not sure that logic about ii not knowing what individuals want necessarily holds true for ISA holders (they appearently can only hold GBP; according to the message I received from ii). I do however agree that payment by cheque does appear antiquated. As regards the conversion rate, thus far I've always ended up receiving slightly more in GBP than I would have received with DEC's quoted rate. So, I cant't complain about ii diddling me on the exchange rate (yet). | ![]() thetrotsky
20/12/2021 15:24 | Of course II want it paid in dollars then they can charge you for converting into pounds - crooks. | ![]() poleaxe
20/12/2021 14:08 | Divi just hit my acct with Halifax | ![]() sunbed44
20/12/2021 13:40 | A shareholder has to elect to be paid in gbp. As ii are a nominee company, I guess they don’t presume to know how individual shareholders want to be paid so they stick with the default option. I don’t know why they are waiting for a cheque in the post though, surely those days are gone? | ![]() ramellous
20/12/2021 13:31 | Nothing with iWeb yet | ![]() davetedjack
20/12/2021 13:15 | Interactive investor says that the dividend hasn't been paid yet because it's paid to them by USD cheque and that they haven't received the cheque yet (delayed by the Xmas post). They do pre-pay dividends but only if they are in STG. I have pointed out that DEC announces a USD to STG conversion rate in advance of the dividend paid to its UK investors; so it begs the question why they are then paying Interactive Investor by USD cheque! | ![]() thetrotsky
20/12/2021 12:42 | My CGI divi is also late at ii. This is a Can$ so looks like some issue with foreign divis. | ![]() ramellous
20/12/2021 11:17 | I'm with Halifax and no dividend yet. wllm :( | ![]() wllmherk
20/12/2021 10:45 | Not true lab305. ii has been excellent up to now. Dividends are usually paid on the dot and in the case of REITs without deductions in my ISA. This is most unusual for ii. | ![]() lord gnome
20/12/2021 10:38 | Ex div was 25/11 so you’ll be eligible for the divi | ![]() ramellous
20/12/2021 10:11 | I sold my DEC on 26th Nov in the morning. I take it I would have had to have been on the books at close of business to get the dividend? | ![]() r9505571
18/12/2021 20:42 | Every dividend there are discussions on the failings of certain brokers regarding late payment, too much tax taken etc. The same brokers are always at fault. Just move broker. | ![]() lab305
18/12/2021 16:55 | ii seem to have problems paying out dividends that are in $s recently - if you query it you just get a bog standard response from them. | scrwal
18/12/2021 14:05 | HL credited mine yesterday. A nice pay day. Stoked up the fire, poured myself a large one, and completely banished the memory of Greta's whining voice from my mind. I suppose really I ought to have raised a toast to her, as her antics no doubt helped depress the DEV price giving me an unexpected chance to top up under 100. Its an ill wind which blows no one any good, so 'Cheers, Greta, and to you bonkers old Biden'. | ![]() 1knocker
18/12/2021 12:21 | My cheque came today, which is pretty good allowing for posties isolating and Christmas volumes. I sent in a W8BEN and currency election a couple of months ago and recieved a Sterling cheque less 15% withholding tax at an exchange rate of $1=£0.74864. It's worked out at 2.545p per share. After the recent dividend rise to 4.25 cents, which will hopefully continue, that would be an annual yield of 10.8p. That's 10.6% @ 102p. | ![]() aleman
18/12/2021 11:46 | Nothing from FreeTrade either. | newtwatcher
18/12/2021 11:24 | Nothing from ii here either. | ![]() ramellous |
