01/3/2024 09:36 | bulltradept I know that because I am not a premium member and cannot downtick. | bountyhunter
01/3/2024 09:11 | "No it can't be him as you need to be a premium member to downtick." No, really? That can't be right surely? How do you know that then bh? | bulltradept
01/3/2024 08:24 | No it can't be him as you need to be a premium member to downtick. | bountyhunter

29/2/2024 22:14 | Not so long ago the price was £9 prior to the dividend entitlement, now it's 935 XD, so that's equivalent to over a tenner with the divi added. | bountyhunter
29/2/2024 21:28 | "not particularly large volume"Sorry but 840k shares between LSE and US. There are 47.5m in issue. If that volume keeps up it will take only 55 days to completely refresh the register. The volume has been immense and when the sellers dry up the shorters are going to struggle to keep a lid on this. Over 1.5m shares are disclosed as short (probably far more under reporting thresholds) and unless they want to keep paying the dividend they will have to buy back. This share has already returned 10% in the last few days, with the Americans still buying in bulk I feel this still has a long way to go.When they start to close the sharks will circle forcing them to close higher no doubt! | alanpro1
29/2/2024 21:06 | US closed equivalent c.1000p on very high volume. | justiceforthemany
29/2/2024 20:00 | We should have prelims & Q4 dividend announcement on 22 March, just 3 weeks away, with next ex div 26 May. Im not taking a 70p divi for granted, but even a 50% cut to pay lip service to further in house plugging ramp up (or a sinking fund nod to the whingers!) is still yielding a FTSE busting 14% at a £10 share price for SIPP holders | elpirata
29/2/2024 19:55 | Not even a year ago , even the start of this year - DEC kept on losing weight as if on a diet on doctor order 😊 | stevensupertrader
29/2/2024 19:48 | Those shareholders or those bought a year ago and bought more or in stages as the price went down to average down the price . I am sure they are all sinking and drowning And almost dying and praying for a miracle to happen 😂 | stevensupertrader
29/2/2024 19:28 | I shall watch the price over next few days with interest. There are bound to be those who will have had enough and sell with the dividend now in the bag, so if we can get over £10 by 'pay day' that will be encouraging. So long as it holds, every dividend received constitutes a significant chunk out of our capital committed, though those of us who have been invested here for a while must nearly all have a way to go yet before we are above water. | 1knocker
29/2/2024 19:02 | Closed 48p down in London having gone XD 69p from the open today, that's effectively another 21p recovery, no complaints there. | bountyhunter
29/2/2024 18:47 | The no of shares traded is excellent if you think if you times it by 20, how many shares it would have been just 3 months ago. With next 70p divi just another 3 months away, plus what I forecast will be excellent annual results. Along with hedged gas for next 2-3 years, also acquiring many more 100’s of wells some with 10 years life and some less from bigger oil and gas companies and those state owned, this is a win win for the next 5 years minimum! With divis to pay your stake back within 3 years, so a ‘no brained’. share price will be at £12-£15 within months!!! | 97peter
29/2/2024 18:33 | If you add the dividend it was an up day today with a reasonable, but not particularly large volume of shares traded. | this_is_me
29/2/2024 13:02 | Down 55p on the LSE right now vs XD 69p payable by the shorters. mafs? Married at first sight? | bountyhunter
29/2/2024 13:00 | It was in my head mafs, so will edit :)The dividend has skewed things for a week or so. Will be interesting to see where this goes in March | premium beeks
29/2/2024 12:58 | I wouldn't take much notice of the pre-open which is why I removed that comment and there's bound to be a lot of volatility today. And by the way where did you get 68p from? 87.5c is 69.21p+ right now: | bountyhunter
29/2/2024 12:55 | Obviously dividend related (to answer your unedited response). Looks like the US comes back in to line with the UK though. You'd be peeved if buying in the US! | premium beeks
29/2/2024 12:46 | Down 62.5p on the LSE right now XD 69p (87.5c). | bountyhunter
29/2/2024 12:32 | Interesting pre price in the US. | premium beeks
29/2/2024 12:04 | One has to take into account local and specific individual tax rates Before judging actual net returns | kaos3
29/2/2024 11:49 | Shares magazine need to get some new envelopes; “A back of the envelope calculation suggests if all investors were to take the tender offer option there would be a reduction of around 9% in the number of shares in issue. “ The tender offer is limited to a maximum of 3,881,238 shares (~7.99%) by the conditions of the tender offer. They also say; “The company has made clear it will only allocate around $42 million – the same amount as the cost of the dividend” It’s not that clear because "Return of Capital of approximately $42 million to Shareholders by way of (i) the Q323 Dividend, or (ii) the Tender Offer to acquire Shares in the Company" makes it seem as though the entire tender offer will be funded by the dividend saving, which is a mathematical impossibility. If you save $0.875 (~69.2p) per share, you can’t subsequently buy the share for £9.35 solely using the $0.875 (~69.2p)! To buy the maximum 3,881,238 shares @ £9.35 will cost ~£36.29m(~$45.95m). The dividend on the remaining 43.7m shares equates to ~$38.24m. Total cost of ~$45.94m + ~$38.24m = $84.19m. To remain within the constraints of $42m + $42m would involve a forex of less than £1 = $1.26116, or less shares purchased. | fordtin
29/2/2024 11:49 | I doubt it. My profit is in the bank. No one ever got poor banking profits. | premium beeks |
