Closed in New York at $12.50 up 77c, that's £9.84 at the current exchange rate, vs the LSE close at £9.51.

If you looked up QPPs purchases at Companies House it was blindingly obvious they weren't worth a mars bar

If you looked up the Company that made a bid for Home Reit and checked the history of the people and checked the inter-relationships with the management company you might have read the runes. If you read the RNS where the management company relocated to the US spinning off the office that managed HOME that would also tell a story

I looked up a company that Wirecard described as a transformational purchase. It had three returns on Google.

All this stuff is public domain, just takes some time and patience

Shorters are squeezed due to low volume thus as the update result is coming soon, shorters need to close their position in order not to get caught out . The coming few trading days will be very interesting .

...The bottom line is that the management, who are major shareholders will always act in the best interests of the owners of the business and act accordingly. Finally for a company that is well hedged it correlates with the US natural gas price closely and that has fallen recently and I happen to expect a significant rise.

Not much volume for any shorters to close into without pushing the price up. Only 170k today with two hours to go. To be fair that's back to pretty much normal after recent fun and games. The US price is still slightly ahead of UK but basically the same so little to be read into that now. Can it beat UK for volume today with UK being quiet?
