Spot on indeed Berny - I'm even hopeful I might break even soon. No really, it's looking very good. And FWIW, I'm predicting more new product before Christmas. Have a good weekend all.

JK,

Distil share price 03/01/20 0.70
FTSE 100 03/01/20 7,622.40

Distil share price 04/09/20 1.40
FTSE 100 04/09/20 5,819.44

That is 100% gain for the year on the penny dreadful and minus 23.65% for the FTSE

I am quite liking this penny dreadful stuff

CFEP 1.30-1.60
PEEL 1.30-1.60
WINS 1.25-1.55
JBER 1.00-1.50
SCAP 1.20-1.50

WINS was our changer yesterday dropping their bid and ask from 1.3-1.60 to 1.25-1.55

Suggests that there is stock around which is good as the market needs some liquidity to progress.

Good luck all

Really suitable for investment .Our core brands and new products performed well in a highly competitive market. Our operating profit grew year on year and we remain in a strong cash position, debt free.

Yes that was me and I bought at that time however my average is still giving me a 38% deficit
However at one time I was 70% down
I like you have had lows and highs but I grumble and criticise the company as others do simply out of frustration at the lack of progress from a company that’s very sound is making
Companies in the Aim cesspit with market cap of £7/8 Million are prone to stagnation
As it’s a very volatile place
I do believe we will make money over the next few years but we need more buyers
Who spot the potential
and that’s the biggest asset it’s potential with a great range of products

>Jane - was it you who told that chump chimers last year that to buy then would inevitably lead to profit?

Whoever it was, they were right - As of today, I make that a 100% gain

I was hoping for trades today to be similar to yesterday’s and a rise accordingly
However it looks like another lacklustre day Trading wise

>Jane: 18 April 2018 - Budweiser owner AB Inbev purchased UK-based whisky blender and online retailer Atom Group owner of Master of Malt, for an undisclosed sum.''

The reason I put this snippet up is that since the take over AB Inbev has instructed MoM not to export any spirits products (therefore including our RedLeg) into the United States where they have their own huge grip on the US booze market. I haven't tried to find any up to date stats but I do know that in 2014 AB Inbev owned a massive 45% of the US beer market and can more or less impose any of their own rules on any booze supplier.

Be interesting to try.

I have not come across the pineapple version of the Franklin and Sons yet.

Good to know that the original RTD has listing

COOP
Morrisons
Tesco

The margins on sales of these will be greater than straight bottles as Distil would not have the costs associated with bottling, transportation and marketing.

Getting greater distribution is key and it looks like the company is doing that well.

Tesco's as well? - Well spotted Berny.
I've seen Franklins cans in Tesco, but not the RedLeg cans.

Pete - COOP as I recall was for Christmas period 19 in COOP now it is Morrisons. For a newly established brand to have two supermarket listings within the first year. Is very good. It would not be surprising to see Tesco take a listing. I keep an eye out on the website for that.

Note: Franklin and Sons is available in Hilton. Not sure whether the Redleg cans are getting in there too but all this is increasing the potential distribution network.

>Jane - Extract from my notes #3
''2 September 2019
Franklin & Sons is a growing, family-orientated brand which continues to lead the way in flavour innovation. Taking inspiration from the unique flavour combinations first explored by the Franklin family back in Victorian Britain, the 1886 Cola includes West African Kola Nut and Colombian coffee beans. Franklin & Sons is owned by Global Brands Ltd, based in Chesterfield. Global Brands has grown to become one of the country's leading independent drinks businesses by continuing to develop and diversify its offering and range of products across the premium spirits, tonics, mixers, soft drinks, RTDs and beer categories.''
