pointless or not, I have never seed a share price currency commodity which stays out of a Bollinger band for more than a couple of days ... wont take long for the set up to continue for a rise ...

Everyone I know has switched from champagne to Prosecco or Cava, instead of paying the premium for a sparkling wine that comes from a specific area. You can buy decent very drinkable Prosecco for £6 a bottle, saving a fortune over the price of champagne if you buy it by the case.

Agreed charting doesn't work with a share like this due to small free float and potential major rerating....this could jump to a multiple of 4-10x with a sniff of someone interested in buying redleg brand....

Bollinger and other charting is pointless when the stock is a tiny penny share that's going through a significant re-rating.The price could easily go up a lot further before the market decides it's reached fair value, ahead of more growth or a bid for one of the brands, and the chartists would be confused as it kept rising when their charts said it shouldn't.

No talk of Bollinger here please.

We prefer Rum & Gin!

The share price had run ahead of its self, well out of the daily Bollinger bands, price has to rest a while for the Bollinger bands to catch up.

I am pleased to see that the share price has held up well today....the next few days will give an indication whether we will see 4p this side of results.

Good luck all :)

15 to 21 trading days to the results RNS. I wonder if we'll be above 4p before or after that day? DIS has been known to jump before news, like there's a leak in the system somewhere.

I remember him, I bought Verity which became NTX which disappeared on his article. Now I don't take any notice of journalists

The p/e of a Company is only one statistic that I find is mainly used to compare cash cows/established companies The p/e of Boohoo is 80 + and I ran that from 22p to £ 1.40 and in that time the p/e hit 115+ which on the face of it seems like crazy numbers but what got priced in is what profit they may make 3 years down the line. The importance of a small profit here means no cash bleed on the balance sheet and the company paying it's own way so it can focus on expansion and marketing and delivering a quality product, instead of putting out creative spin in order to constantly raise cash via placings causing dilution. It's a relatively healthy pullback on the SP, the price just Can't go up in a straight line and to me everything looks solid.

One final point, his reference to p/e is ridiculous as the co is currently transforming from loss making to small profit, using historic numbers to form a p/e is irrelevant having just got into the major supermarkets and if as I reckon they get the product launched into the US etc etc this yr. P/E is much more important for well established cos like Diageo with billions of turnover where growth is more sedate. Look at Fevr with high p/e it is because it is expected to grow exponentially in coming yrs. the co is worth £2bn or thereabouts and still considered early stage! DIS is valued 18m a tiddler in very early stage with I would say much greater growth prospects in %terms in coming years.

Gary Newman is a holder of the shares as stated up front
I don't think those with a financial interest should be writing tipping sheets anyway, didn't Michael Walters of the Mail get done for that?
Maybe internet publications have different rules as they're not seen as bona fide journalists
I've learnt not to trust anyone and especially the likes of so called brokers like Goldman Sachs who are known to advise their clients one thing and be doing the opposite themselves. The stock market is a shady place alright.

Forget ShareProhets and all tipsheets .. once they have made a certain % they will recommend selling regardless to protect their annual gain stats so they can attract new subscribers.

Frankly, if we are losing 'sheep investors' along the way it's a good thing medium to longer term.

Just IMHO

Not sure they are as desperate as us for the US launch.
Don seemed calm on the subject when I asked him at the Investor show and awafrom the stand recently.

If you watch the video above it is me that asked the first question about the US.

Get the feeling we are already doing very well brand wise and all in good time seemed the vibe and they are happy to take their time over the picking the right US distributor.

ODR

Cause for alarm ? I don't think so. Pausing for breath.
Old holders taking some profit and new investors taking opportunity
to get on board,
Well, that's my opinion FWIW.

There's normally an alterior motive, someone wants it before the announcement of the US distribution announcement?!

It's just one bod's view as stated:

"This area of the ShareProphets.com site is for independent financial commentary. These blogs are provided by independent authors via a common carrier platform and do not represent the opinions of ShareProphets.com. For all we know, Gary Newman could be the boffster. I read such articles just to check if they have info I have missed but in this case it has no further info and certainly no reason to take profit just because it's had a nice rise. I took profit in Fevr too early, as well as several others in my time I regret. Not going to fall into that trap with DISTIL, Happy to hold

Shareprophets have got it wrong on two occasions I can think of when they have "recommended"action on one of my portfolio and to suggest profit taking on a co with huge growth prospects and tiny cap value I think is quite irresponsible and dangerous to their readers who may take their advice and potentially miss out on a multi bagger from here. Just like those who recommended pr taking Fevr at £10. I will also continue to accumulate here.
Many have suggested they are an investment ring with dubious motives, not just the peddling of articles that would be of interest to their readers because of the increase in popularity of a stock? Hmm don't trust them

Don't assume anything with Distil. The company has just been on the cusp of getting somewhere for the last 10 years! They really ought to start selling jam (tomorrow)
