Overreaction from the investors merely to the headline GWP amount, which is caused by the end of the Nationwide and Sainsburys insurance partnerships. Own brands GWPs are growing strongly and are up 2% on Q1 2017. Algo traders at it again.

Did the same a few days ago, increased my holding only to find it dropping, was hoping for £4 around the update.

I suspect the fall in DLG is more a reflection of the Hastings results this morning which said:

'Although Hastings reported a 12pc boost in revenues for the three months to March, investors reacted to the claim increase and its shares plunged 8pc in early trade. They later recovered ground to trade down around 4.7pc at 266p.'

Shame, as I only doubled up on DLG yesterday ready for next week :-(

Gary
You aren't born owning a car.
Some people have to buy one to start.
e.g 16 & 17 year olds. Then they need insurance.

What I meant was does anyone know the reason for the fall back, as the last company results seem to suggest the business is going to grow further and profits to thus increase.
