FLC - that would be cutting it too fine for my liking (because of the delist after 1 month of no Nomad on 30th June). Not much point coinciding the two as the full year has nothing to do with what's going on now, so hoping earlier.

If we have nothing by the end of next week I'll contact Brian again for a timescales update.

morning Flojo - I have no need to contact Brian again as I think we already know as much as possible without being insiders. Should we get a little too close to 29/06 for comfort (i.e. 30 days since nomad resigned and the day we would have to de-list) then I will contact him again.

Believe me, no-one is as optimistic about current prospects as I am, but 5 years of waiting with no positive news means a few more days is nothing for me...

Brian is a professional, but a busy one, and as such these things take longer than we would like..

Flojo - you've not missed much apart from the update I gave. There is an outside chance that the placing will be above market price (i've heard nothing relating to placing price so only speculation) - I think we all may be suprised by the amount of cash being raised i.e. more than tabled. I think the intention is not only to raise the £200k, but also enough to bring some of the PR's to fruition.

My understanding is that Brian is meeting two of the Nomads today, so outside possibility we may be relisted tomorrow/this week, though perhaps the suspension is part of the wider issue on fund raising and will last a while longer.

Updated slightly as he's actually looking at new Nomad, not broker as I'd previously written.

FLC - Agree, is excellent news. Dimension will not go for a reverse acquisition at this point due to associated cost and complexity of new admission document (change of business nature etc..). This means the likelyhood is that DMR will acquire stakes in various companies until such point that DMR the entity is much larger than those investments and they can be considered simply as acquisitions and not reverses - if that makes sense.

Good news - had contact from Brian Moritz. He confirms our understanding that suspension is a technicality. He's actively pursuing a new nomad as original (hence confidence in RNS) couldn't meet desired timescales -he's reviewing three potentials. He's also been out of the country since 24th May, so things haven't happend as fast as intended.

The deal as stated in the RNS is still on. He also confirmed my guidance from previous discussions that the intention for DMR is to become an investment vehicle and this is 'the first in a number of investments' - his words highlighted, not mine.

More encouraging news perhaps is that raising the funds, or indeed more, as forcasts have indicated, should not be problem.

A broker (not a Nomad) is already working on a share placing (doing the rounds I presume), so perhaps, news has already filtered out regarding placing price - or maybe speculation at this point.

All in all, encouraging response and the wheels are still moving - we may get an update next week re: Nomad - though he did not indicate an update would be forthcoming.

FLC - It depends on the kind of finance being sourced. If it is only the £200k then I expect us to be back in days, if they're looking to raise substantially more (£2m - £5m), I'd suggest weeks as they do the rounds with presentations etc... regardless, we need a Nomad to be appointed from within one month of Fridays announcement to maintain our AIM listing. Also we need everything agreed at an EGM, unless progress is extremely slow in which case the August AGM would suffice..

I gave Brian a call just now, he's out of the country until Wednesday (at least, he said he would call me back on Wednesday) - I think he said he was in Johanessburg or Singapore - not sure I heard him right but either he was in a golf ball(!) or a gold forum - my money is on the latter...sounded like I interuppted something

Shame I can't remember exactly where he was or what he was doing, perhaps it's this if it was joberg...

Morning Flojo- well for what it's worth, perhaps the rumour by moreupsthandowns yesterday about a placing at 1p+ could have some truth in it.

If I were arranging new finance and it was taking longer than expected, I wouldn't want the market i.e. us here, to start selling if the expected date is passed, affecting the price unecessarily. Perhaps the suspension is all part of the plan to prevent trading based swings in advance of placement.

DMR has been suspended before for different reasons, I'm confident that there is nothing to worry about here as it's taken far to long to get this far to fall at the first....

Not the news we were expecting, but this is simply a technicality - IMO. Rule 1 relates to the fact that the company must at all times continue to have a noiminated advisor, clearly as Thornton were sacked, the new co. in process of appointment the share has to be suspended until complete. Perhaps this action is part of the wider reverse and prices being determined..
