Bought a few here. The board are carrying out a strategic review, a new Ned has thrown in a few years salary, communication has been appalling. A 50% rise from here seems achievable to me and it would still look cheap.

That's not very festive William...

.. perhaps though it could work for the directors with the objective of rescuing the "company" or I guess they could use a moratorium to hold the creditors at bay whilst they complete the Verne sale..) ;

The share price would rise if their RCF lenders appointed an administrator :)

Yes paying fees for incompetence is my pet hate

Junior they are; and we are paying their not inconsiderable tuition fees Some of which they could divert into DGI common

Perhaps they don't have any funds to be loading up - the management team all looked very junior so they might not have amassed huge wealth.

Take your point re the NED; but the directors not loading up is worrying

It is a pretty big vote of confidence. I don't know Brett Miller but he seems to be a full time NED. Without checking I'll guess that his salary at DGI9 is around £50k, so he has put in 3 years after tax salary. If it was the manager it would be a half hearted gesture, but there is no pressure on him to invest: IIRC most of the other directors haven't.

Tucked away:

" Following the announcement on 14 December 2023, Mr Brett Miller purchased a further 200,000 shares in the Company at a price of £0.3035 per share on 14 December 2023. This brings Mr Brett Miller's total holdings in the Company to 400,000 shares as of today."

ghhghh

"Arqiva valuation is geared by the debt, a 20% EV uplift gives 70p per share, a 20% drops to only 10p."

Can I ask did the note layout how the rate curve effects Arqiva valuation ?

The flip side is all that cheap green electricity generation from geothermal power. I guess you can't have everything!

Run your AI compute engines on lava with the risk they get vaporised at any time ;-)

It's quite common in PE structures to have this sort of structure. Anyway. Personally I find Oaks analysis pretty good..

bagpuss67 thanks for saying, its how I too have always thought the financial engineering debt works there. Oaks value way too high in my book but its clearly not zero
