Why are they returning capital (divis and buybacks) when their short-term debt is over £200m ?
Total debt is high although £400m is leases.
You don't want this amount of debt in a downturn.

Why would there be a bid here when competitor ScS has a much stronger balance sheet and lower p/e rating? They are a sitting duck and by far the best value in the sector

Well my experiance of this company has not been good.
Ordered a Sofa ect. on 3rd March.After several delays had a text to say it had arrived on Tuesday at the depo and to please book a delivery slot.Which I did for Friday having had to pay the ballance owing, before it would let me book.
Now I get a phone call to say oh no it has not arrived yet after all.Maybe the 16th.
I had allready started cutting up the old stuff to take to the tip, another hour and all would have gone.
So not too pleased, still must not grumble they have had full payment, good for the shareholders.

Did anyone else have a letter from their broker? Saying the ordinary shares where being divided into 0.10gbp shares and 1 deferred share of gbp1.40. With the deferred shares worthless?I haven't seen any rns- nor have I seen anything like this before
