10/2/2015 17:22 | Dewhurst comment:- | cwa1
10/2/2015 10:17 | Mr Viera, This is his latest comment titled '5 Top Picks for the Future' (there is some earlier Dewhurst pieces on the site) [...] Of the 90-odd companies I track, Dewhurst could be the most undervalued. The company is a manufacturer of push-buttons and components for lifts, ATMs, and railway carriages, as well as bollards and signage for roads. Although its illiquidity is off-putting for some, it shouldn't be off-putting for long-term investors. Dewhurst is a respected specialist, which probably explains its record of high profitability, maintained in the year to September 2014. | cockerhoop
09/2/2015 16:27 | Clearly there should be a premium for voting rights, but the difference is extreme now IMO. Possibly happening now because Richard Beddard tipped the T shares on iii | cockerhoop

22/12/2014 11:11 | Thanks, Patviera, They are quite a company. So unassuming, just powering away year after year. Long may it continue. Good old-fashioned engineering. Good old-fashioned investing. Glen | profdoc

15/12/2014 11:48 | I have written a 3,000 word analysis of Dewhurst pointing out its qualifications for being considered a Warren Buffett type of investment (I've also bought some more following my May 2014 purchase). I would value you views on where I might have gone wrong. I'm particularly interested in the return on capital employed, the dedication and skill of the senior managers, the good economic franchise, the stability and the low MCap relative to the earnings (I prefer to use Warren's 'owner earnings' rather than conventional earnings). Obviously, ADVFN do not want me to post the analysis here. It is at I have recommended it as a 'buy' to my Newsletter followers. Glen | profdoc
05/12/2014 13:36 | If you're expecting just to click on it and get taken to the link, that won't work because it hasn't been posted as a link (probably in order to sidestep one or more of the distortions ADVFN's posting software applies to posted links). Cut-and-pasting it to your browser's URL box should do the job. Gengulphus | gengulphus

02/12/2014 08:28 | It's not easy at the best of times - I had to do with a top up of 1500 at 320p (in 2 trades). But was expecting them to have been marked up higher and to have to pay a bit more to be honest. | cockerhoop
02/12/2014 08:20 | Looks like a decent turnaround and fairly optimistic noises about the future too. Unusually positive. Grabbed a few for myself, couldn't get many more online first thing. GLTAH. | cwa1
