04/6/2018 09:49 | Looks like fairly significant acquisition news...although only showing up on DWHT! Always like the sound of immediately earnings enhancing...... Dewhurst plc, an independent supplier of quality components to the lift, keypad and transport industries is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement to acquire the entire issued share capital of A&A Electrical Distributors Limited ("A&A") for an initial consideration of £10.5 million plus a deferred consideration based on profits generated over the next two years (the "Acquisition"). The Acquisition will be funded from existing cash resources. The Board expects the Acquisition will be immediately earnings enhancing. | jaf111
04/4/2018 09:29 | Things happening...the T shares continuing up but now joined by the A shares???? | jaf111

10/1/2018 22:15 | Yes, but are the voting shares overvalued, or the non-voting shares undervalued??? | gustavfenk
10/1/2018 21:11 | These are on a 33% discount to the voting shares after the dramatic rise in the voting shares. Interesting! | topvest
23/10/2017 20:02 | Interesting that the Tel tipped the Young Non-Voters and it is the Dewhurst Non-voters that are flying here, not the Voters. | coolen

22/6/2017 10:13 | Cantor; Dewhurst (BUY) – A solid first half of trading DWHT LN (660p, TP 800p from 750p), Market Cap: £47.4m (Corporate Stock) Dewhurst’s FY2017 interims confirm a continuation in positive trading across most territories, supported by a strong contribution from foreign exchange. Group sales grew 22% to £26.1m, or 10% at CER, and given Dewhurst’s operational gearing, adjusted PBT increased by 76% to £3.0m. Notable contributors were Dewhurst’s Transport and Keypad businesses, which both achieved double digit growth, as well as the first time sales contribution of £0.4m from February’s accretive purchase of P&R in Australia. As usual, the balance sheet is strong, with £16m of net cash, and management has increased the interim dividend by 17% to 3.5p (CFE forecast 3.3p). Despite potentially less certainty in the UK over the shorter term, the outlook is generally positive. As such, we increase our PBT forecasts for FY2017E/18E/19E each by approximately 3%, and raise our TP to 800p from 750p. We reiterate our BUY recommendation. | davebowler
