Nice move today despite broker sell reiteration, wouldn't be surprised to see some Chinese takeover rumours surface soon.

J A Lodge another Director bought 15,500 shares on the 9th August for 322.60. The following week it hit a low of 305.400. In the long term it would appear a good indicator. Short term, Directors are just as bad as the rest of us at picking shares.

Given how poor the recent trading statement was it can hardly come as a surprise that the share price has dropped. I sold mine for a couple of pence profit so after costs I got nothing but I saw no point in holding. I have kept them on my monitor but would not look at getting back in again until the 260 region.

Well I sold yesterday, seems to be trending down. Perhaps I will buy back in later. The next low is 289 (2nd July 2013), after that it goes way back in the charts(paleochartolgy!) Good luck Jimmy. Last Months trading was spectacular, this month is a washout.

Perhaps those who manipulate this share will have filled their boots and we can look forward to a steady rise.

Guess on the bright side, this is the third time the share has tested 300 in recent weeks so hopefully that is a floor for the price in the short term. Still holding at the moment!

Salpara, most long term holders here are in at considerably lower levels and their yield is significantly higher than an investor who has bought more recently - that is why many are just happy to hold.

Out at 310 this morning for a few pence profit. Will keep it on my monitor but expect it to drift around the 300 line for the foreseeable future. Not a great divi either.

Wasn't overly impressed with update - I always reread the previous statement and they have definitely softened their view for the full year. The statement read ok until the bit about low end of expectations. Very nearly sold first thing but seems to be coming back but not sure this is a long term hold for me

I am not sure why a long term shareholder would be happy with a statement that finishes with "We expect profits for the year to be at the lower end of expectations" effectively they have announced that they are going to underperform for the next 6 months and given that the share price has gone nowhere for the last 18 months, I would imagine that even a long term holder would be thinking about better places for their money. They have underperformed the FTSE 250 over 1 year, 2 years and 3 years so unless you are a really long term holder you would have been better of with an index tracker. Anyway, good luck to all staying in.

Very disappointing! What happened to the economic recovery in N.America and stabilisation in Europe? They are basically saying that all their main markets except Germany and Japan are lower than last year which suggests to me that there is something wrong specifically with this business. It is worrying that with the new capacity in europe that sales are flat. I guess that there is potential in China but that is a couple of years away. I am going to exit today, hopefully around my b/e line.

Still holding onto a small gain here and looking for the update to finally allow the share price to move back onto an upward trajectory! The biggest issue for these sort of businesses is how difficult it is for them to raise prices while input price inflation continues to squeeze their margins. Clearly the Czech plant should help to push top line revenue growth.

Double bottom? That's what you get for sitting inside a dalek all day! I don't buy into charts for short term analysis, but results out on 14th and new Czezh plant should certainly mean no extermination to share price (IMO). ;-)
