Lol. So many opportunities, they've given themselves more. I suspect they found one good one, and it's not medtech?

Derriston Capital recorded a loss of £140,176 for the period from 14 November to the end of June.

It said the vast majority related to the formation of the company and its admission to the standard list.

Since float, the company had lost £7,273.

It said cash assets at period end were nearly £2.2 million and it had no debts.

Chairman Harry Hyman said: "Admission to the standard list has given Derriston the profile, funding and liquid equity to consider a number of acquisitions.

"Given the large number of exciting opportunities we are analysing, the board has decided to widen the scope of Derriston's investment criteria and look at acquisitions within all technology and other high growth sectors."
