31/5/2018 12:03 | Wasn't comparing them. :-) | cottoner
31/5/2018 11:48 | I don't want to be negative but board all in their seventies, of course Derriston will go well, it took Sorrell who's brilliant, virtually a lifetime to build WPP, time not on their side this time. | montyhedge
31/5/2018 11:13 | BHRD is a pile of dog poo DERR is the real mccoy | opodio
31/5/2018 11:06 | Previously mentioned in a post a possible link between Martin Sorrell's new company and BeHeard (BHRD) thro' Nigel Wray , who's a substantial holder in BHRD. A second link now appears to be Dowgate Capital Stocbrokers. Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers Limited which is authorised and regulated in the United Kingdom by the Financial Conduct Authority is acting for Derriston Capital plc and S4 Capital Limited in connection with the proposals set out in this Announcement and for no one else and will not be responsible to anyone other than Derriston Capital plc and S4 Capital Limited for providing the protections afforded to their clients or for providing advice in relation to this announcement or any matters referred to herein. Dowgate also arranged a placing for BHRD in Nov 17. FROM THE BHRD RNS 'N+1 Singer Advisory LLP ("N+1 Singer") and Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers Limited ("Dowgate") have acted as joint bookrunners (together the "Joint Bookrunners") in respect of the Placing. N+1 Singer is acting as nominated adviser to the Company.' In fact James Serjeant specifically mentioned in the BMRD RNS. From BHRD RNS: Dowgate +44 20 3903 7715 James Serjeant FROM DERR RNS yesterday. * James Serjeant is also a director and a shareholder of 3B Capital Limited (which is the holding company of Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers) and a director of Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers Limited. Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers Limited is, in addition to broker to the Company, acting as placing agent, adviser and broker for S4 Capital Limited. James Serjeant is the legal and beneficial owner of 200,000 ordinary shares in the Company. 3B Capital Limited is the legal and beneficial owner of 1,062,500 ordinary shares in the Company. In addition, James Serjeant has also subscribed for 75,000 S4 Investor Ordinary Shares in his own name which will become 872,250 Ordinary Shares on Completion. | cottoner
31/5/2018 10:43 | i don't think he has grasped the maths yet it all depends on the issue price of the shares all we know is the stated cash but to find out the nett assets per share we would need to divide nett cash by numbers shares in issue the rest is as such goodwill/hype depending on what you want to call it | ntv
31/5/2018 10:25 | zcaprd7 - What exactly do you mean by 'That's quite a lot of goodwill for the hype'? Its nearly all cash. | spooky
31/5/2018 10:14 | just phoned walbrooks today to see if there is a chance of a smaller shareholder who has been a shareholder for a decent while, to buy a few more shares in the placing didn't sound hopeful it is unfair that on the whole long term smaller holders don't get a chance to participate in placings due to hear back later via email | ntv
31/5/2018 07:28 | I suggest a few weeks and JonC suggested it would be more like a few days. Like he said everything is in place (S4 is funded, Derriston had a main market listing etc) so he's probably more likely to be right. It won't be today however as we'll have seen an RNS from S4 Capital. | dplewis1
31/5/2018 07:21 | when does this resume | opodio
31/5/2018 00:10 | Directors, Harry Hyman, Rodger Sargent and James Serjeant, will resign and reduce their holdings to 0.38 per cent, 0.24 per cent and 0.35 per cent respectively. Sargent said: 'We had considered a number of deals recently but the opportunity came up to do a deal with Sir Martin and we leapt at it.' | zcaprd7
31/5/2018 00:01 | Will DERR resume trading tomorrow? | opodio
31/5/2018 00:00 | Interestingly perhaps, Nigel Wray holds just under 6% in BHRD , the AIL listed digital marketing group. | cottoner
30/5/2018 22:51 | From tomorrow's Mail - Sorrell's not going to be hanging around: "S4 Capital is in talks with firms about acquisitions. Sorrell added: ‘There are significant opportunities for development in technology, data and content. I look forward to making this happen.’" | rivaldo
30/5/2018 22:48 | Would love 100p | opodio
30/5/2018 22:07 | Good article as it does warn of the dangers of so much power in Sorrell's hands. He might be king of ad-land but he doesn't sound like a particularly pleasant bloke to work for. | dplewis1

30/5/2018 15:09 | shows you need to have patience when a suspension usually happens first.. hoping RS can make it 2 out of 2 with bloc, they hinted at game changing blockchain possible deal 3 weeks ago.. | still waiting
30/5/2018 15:07 | Placing was at 10p as per prospectus. Looks like it opened in the 20s on first day of trading. | webpax
30/5/2018 14:41 | Placed at 20 p from graph above then fell fast. My estimate for new price at 594 mill shares with £40 plus £11 plus £3 millions gives around 9 pence......BUT NOT FOR LONG with an extra £150 mill investment commitments on offer........35 p anyone? | mrcoolguy
30/5/2018 14:04 | Original placing price was 10p I believe, but I don't think many PIs would tie up large sums in a shell when there are so many to choose from and they have such a chequered past performance | dplewis1
30/5/2018 13:50 | No, I don't imagine anyone has, it was a bit of a punt when it listed about 18 months ago!Still, that initial placing price was at 20p, and I can't believe they will stiff those loyal shareholders? | zcaprd7 |
