Guys

I am in same position of pondering a further investment based on the current valuation. It's seems like one of those moments where you feel uncomfortable investing as there is some uncertainty in the air but such times can be the best times to invest. Personally I need to do some more research as I am already fully invested. Has potential....

If you are correct and the Italian and Indian operations are doing well does that mean the 'certain orders being received later than anticipated' is a U.K. problem?

Trading update 2011:

==========================================================================
''The new Italian office continues to build a successful presence in that territory and is
performing ahead of internal forecasts;
We have now appointed a general manager to develop the numerous opportunities that we
have in India and this will lead to the establishment of an office there in January 2012;
We have recruited an additional experienced UK salesman to further develop an increasing
number of opportunities in our home market.''
=========================================================================

It will be good to see a breakdown of the India and Italy revenue stream in future reports.

Clearly these territories are a key growth objective for Densitron, and must now be yielding the success pre-ported in 2008 for Densitron Italy , moving into Densitron Italy's 5th year of operation.

All very quiet. 'They say that H2 should be stronger with a better pipeline of orders than H1' Is that expected to be from the Indian orders? Any P.R. on this?

Unquote.

Now quote the latest company update:

"The primary cause of this is certain orders being received later than anticipated"

Unquote.

So H1 orders were poorer than expected and now H2 orders are poorer than predicted. Plus the legal claim for the matter over the property rents is now serious enough for Densitron to engage in mediation with the 'other parties in the litigation'.

Is that about the size of it?

Densitron: Hello mr smith, what flavour of ice cream would you like to buy this month?

Mr Smith: Do you realise we have an industrial design cycle of 3 years? We need a stable product.

Densitron: Would you like Strawberry, it's better than the vanilla we had last time?

Mr Smith: Goodbye

i think india should be massive, even a small share of that market could pay dividends for this company. The sales direction here is impeccable , right time , right place.

companies like this are going to be hit hard by the euro zone crisis

that's why India muust be so crucial

and good to hear they have a strong order book in India right now isn't it

With a p/e ratio of less than 8 and a 6.5% dividend, there's a fair bit of bad news already in the price. Given that they are confident they will meet market expectations for the full year, it still looks pretty cheap to me.

Longer term, with sales in India and increased intellectual property, prospects look even better.

I'll keep holding and enjoying the chunky dividend payments.

Cheers.
Michael.

Not holding here but still watching with interest. They say that H2 should be stronger with a better pipeline of orders than H1, so I will stay sidelined for now and await proof in a future trading update.

It's all very mysterious.

"Orders are up but sales are down".

Sounds like a labour politician.

4 May Notified orders 28% up on previous year
4 May CEO notifies purchase of shares
16 May Westhouse upgrades from buy to strong buy
12 June "The level of orders booked during the first six months of the tear will be higher than in 2011 but the level of sales and consequently gross profit will be behind. "

By 16 May the company was well into its half year ending 30 June so I am surprised by Westhouse's upgrade so close to the gross profit warning.

I'm new to this company having just bought some shares on the expectation of good half year results. Now having second thoughts !

the company is a red herring with no intellectual property, and a new dist franchise every 6 months.

it's only downhill from here

Libel ? The lease liability case is the only issue I am aware of and the price has certainly dropped enough to take care of that IMHO but an AGM may help clear up a few things.
