01/6/2011 22:13 | Regarding the AGM notice, previously much has been made of significant new projects and orders. Is it reasonable to expect a detailed update to be made on these at the A.G.M? For example the Orange phone store thing? Actually I intend to attend. | heartylaugh
19/5/2011 15:11 | Decent Director buy (relative to the size of this company). Does it really matter if DSN are a manufacturer or a distributor? surely it's the bottom line that counts. | wakeland
12/5/2011 15:36 | By September when interims come out this will be back up to circ 15p and may be a bit more. Dividend forecast for 2011 is 0.4p and profits over £1 million. Looks cheap at 10p/11p. (market cap of just circ £7m) All IMHO. | woodcot
12/5/2011 13:02 | "5-6p by Friday" Dream on. | valhamos
12/5/2011 12:14 | What a surprise! Hopefully thats it. | andy2000

11/5/2011 21:26 | from 15p to 5-6p by Friday | lcd interest
11/5/2011 16:53 | What price tomorrow, 12th May?? Deadline for special dividend just ended. | andy2000
06/5/2011 08:37 | Yes I agree Valhamos, very attractive. In fact it looks like a give away price at this level. | woodcot
06/5/2011 08:11 | A substantial increase (64%)in orders received, which seems to be maintained into 2011, allied with "The Group has in place a strategy to deliver substantial growth over the next three years" seems to suggest a further increase in EPS for this year. Buying today at 15p with 4p returned by capital reduction and 1p special dividend in a couple of weeks with a current year EPS of at least 1p makes this look very attractive IMHO | valhamos
04/5/2011 19:53 | Did the Orange project finally hit the shops for Dunsitron? | lcd interest
02/5/2011 21:37 | LCD interest May one assume that you will not be buying, (further), shares in 'Dunsitron? I need to correct you on a particular point - you accuse Densitorion of being a 'distributor' - I think that is not the case because I believe they amounted to a dozen people working above the Mac Donalds burger joint in Cannon St - and then down-sized to a smaller office. Not much scope for distribution there. | heartylaugh
28/4/2011 20:40 | ''Tech. sector ....high risk....big competitors..... ...and Densitron have made it clear that it will not make significant investments in R & D since returning cash to shareholders instead...'' ==================== Plenty of new franchised distributions though, E Paper on the Densitron website, the next big thing for Densitron, or the next failed franchize to be brushed under the carpets! How many have they signed up now and no longer see any sign of? I thought they were all about CMO a year ago, TFT , AMOLED? Dunsitron ! Dunsitron , new E Paper, available direct in China , or from Dunsitron until march 2012 when they lose the franchize! Dunsitron is the biggest example of it's type of company, to swap franchizes consistently every year. It's how not to sell Display Technology 101. J | lcd interest
27/4/2011 19:02 | 'DoctorJohnson' - I've had a look at the URL you posted above and so can save others the trouble, (why dodn't you post an explanation?). It's a list of a person's share purcahses and that person has bought £2.5K in DSN. Is that relevant to this thread or worthy of discussion? Explain. | heartylaugh

13/4/2011 16:49 | Seems strange that cut off date for dividend is not until 11th May. Shares are obviously going to drop 4 or 5 p on the 12th May. ?? | andy2000
13/4/2011 12:41 | Land land land... it's only 1.25 acres application is for 5 houses... value ? 60k/plot ? =300k if have to stick an access road into the 1.25acres then takes good part of the space, with pavement either side even 100k/plot then = 1/2M after costs/tax would not make much impact on Denistron share price imho cap. value is 14M ==== Tech. sector ....high risk....big competitors..... ...and Densitron have made it clear that it will not make significant investments in R & D since returning cash to shareholders instead...good for P.G. I assume since he gets a return on his investment (what price did he buy in at ??....looks like 13p-14p to me, in 2002/2003) Considering the bumpy road that Densitron has been down since 2000 he is probably happy to get a good chunk of his money back. but what is the value and P/E of what is left ? doesn't seem to be making much profit from what I can see....although order book is up If it makes 1/2M per year...then P/E of say 10 only gives a cap. value of 5M. so after a superficial look, it's not for me... | markt
11/4/2011 22:57 | Densitron at National Electronics Week - Discover the Latest Industrial Display Solutions! YES, go to the NEC this week. The Densitron company web site says; "Densitron is a well-established British manufacturer of innovative custom and standard display solutions". You may be able to: * See 'Densitron's OLED displays and ask where they are made, by whom and who else sells them. * Demand to see the new Light Touch (TM) touch screen and enquire what it's all about and who invented it / makes it / sells it. * Confirm if the industrial grade 'FFS' displays are present and ask if the person who named them has ever been on the internet. And where are they made. And by whom. * Talk about the price of land. | heartylaugh
01/4/2011 22:34 | The land is everything it's the holy grail for these people/ When it's gone you should see the reality of the share price. 3p | lcd interest
21/3/2011 23:47 | Land? I thought all planning had been refused. Anyway, so what, what's it got to do with core business? | heartylaugh
21/3/2011 23:27 | Sueme, Yes, it was very good news, the company seem very confident and 2011 has started off very well. Role on the 26th of May plus no tax liable for me on the 5p return. No I don't think a bid is on the cards it was an off the cuff comment. Hope the company keep on track as per broker forecasts and we should see a progressive dividend. BH land could work out very well for shareholders IF they can get planning. Can't see much downside in the medium term but you never know how investors will react. W | woodcot
18/3/2011 23:46 | Woodcot More good news today and it seems undervalued compared to some other companies. Do you think there is bid on the cards at 25p? This is the best preforming share for me over the last 12 months, you seem up beat on the future of the Densitron. Sueme | sueme
17/3/2011 09:52 | Sounds ideal to me. | kmacgre
17/3/2011 08:56 | office is tiny and above Macdonalds I recall, not the impressive hub of a global manufacturing base! | tartan hedger |
