The Company is holding its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on 20 June 2018 and will release an AGM statement that day.

I think I will go along to that

mrC2u: who do you mean by 'him', Ewan, or the new CEO?

I'm sorry Ewan had to go. I liked him, and he was very committed to DEMG, but maybe a new CEO will see how to get us moving. The market seems to be taking it very calmly so far.

It comes with the job. The chairman would want the new CEO to be enthusiastic.

I certainly did not pick up on the impending departure of the CEO at the Investor meeting at the end of May, so not sure what to make of it.

I think many long term investors, who have kept faith in the product, have lost money. Unfortunately it's not the product but clinical culture that is critical.

Yes I am an investor and have lost a lot of money and no hope if recovering it.

At the very least an extra cost cut. Maybe Phillips was resistent to some ideas?

What a terrible investment. I remember Deltex made headline news a few years ago and the shares soared. Like so many UK stocks it's all ending in disappointment

amt (9375) "merged with Lidco. The 2 together could cut costs and probably break even."

There's a bit missing from your posting. The interwebs must have cut off the bit where you wrote,

"...and probably break even more investors' hearts."

It's about time they merged with Lidco. The 2 together could cut costs and probably break even.

Indeed, sold out this am 600k on the basis of the lost business, despite a vaguely optimistic forward statement.

The sort of marketing/lobbying expense they need here isn’t covered by the £2mil, so holders may double/triple by holding out for a buyout by a bigger med device company, but all too uncertain for me.

So the first (known aleady) problem is that anaesthetists are making decisions in isolation because they are separated from downstream benefits. That's a result of no overall management power or influence in pushing forwards progressive methods.

re above please add for discussion:-

Why are staff taking absences and leaving DEMG in the USA ?

and

What does ''as a result of disruption from clinician and management turnover'' mean ?

Are DEMG blaming the client or themselves ?

Have DEMG lost one USA account completely ?
''Revenues from US managed care service contracts were down £108,000 (20%) following the loss of revenues to one account''

If so who now has that account I wonder ?

From the results today

'' The other two territories, which suffered from periods of unplanned staff absences and vacancies, saw declines in probe revenues of 32% and 10% respectively.

Revenues from US managed care service contracts were down £108,000 (20%) following the loss of revenues to one account as a result of disruption from clinician and management turnover; revenues from the other managed care contracts were marginally ahead.''

I think you guys ought to be discussing the reason why DEMG has lost a big USA account having only just won it in the last couple of years.

I suggest this is a big problem in case another USA account gets lost

My rationale is that DEMG have been losing UK NHS sales now for the last 4 years

So has that now started in the USA ?

Thanks zho, illuminating. Yump - thanks for conceding your point on the breakeven deficit here was not a good one, based on the facts presented by the company.
