Up against the market with a few shares traded.

Do investors believe that this company is so well run that it will not face harsh conditions from the regulator?

Or that it is a bite sized takeover target?

Interims 27th November last year.

No date available for this year but I am advised that the figures may be out slightly earlier this year.

With political pressure building up on water companies as well as energy companies it will be interesting to read the company's statement(if any) on future divi policy.

IMHO this company has usually been conservative with its price and divi increases.

Stronger than some bigger water companies right now.

They appear to have always erred on the cautious side with divi. increases.


Could still fall back sharply on profit taking?

Still creeping up on tiny purchases.

If someone sold 5K I would expect to see a big correction.

What would be the take-out price if someone does wish to acquire this company? Any ideas?

DEE VALLEY GROUP PLC ("THE GROUP")

INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT





Dee Valley Group plc today publishes its Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 October 2012 to date.



Group revenue for the year to date is in line with management expectations with the fall in measured water consumption particularly in the commercial and industrial sectors continuing through the year as forecast.



Profit for the year before exceptional items is expected to be in line with management expectations despite pressure on operating costs. Electricity prices have now been fixed up to 2015 for all of the Group's expected consumption.



Capital investment in the regulated business continues as planned. The major construction project at Llwyn Onn continues to make good progress and is expected to be completed by the summer of 2013.



Ofwat's latest consultation on revised proposals to modify water companies' licence conditions closed in January. The Group has consented to Ofwat's proposals and remains engaged in, and awaits the outcome of, this process.



David Strahan replaced David Guest as Finance Director with effect from 1 January 2013.



Other than the information contained in this Interim Management Statement there have been no material events or transactions in the period affecting the outcome for the current financial year.

'Dee Valley Group plc

Keith Williams, Operations Director of Dee Valley Water and a person discharging managerial responsibilities (PDMR), notified the Company on 5 February 2013 in accordance with DTR 3.1.2 that he and his wife, Delia Williams, have together sold 2,000 shares in the Company at a price of 1,420p. After the transaction, Mr Williams and his wife are interested in 2,155 shares in the Company, representing 0.05% of the total issued share capital.


This disclosure has been made for the purposes of DTR 3.1.4.'


They did not have a huge holding but if an offer was imminent?
