08/8/2018 15:36 | 🤖 mreasygoing , Please tell us about EXPO, I would love to know the background . My Partner went in Blackpool this morning and she said that it was reasonably busy in the areas where she was looking for items to buy . She did come home to the south shore area of Blackpool with a couple of packed Debenhams named bags with as she has said a few fantastic bargains. Debenhams will recover I think and I will be a loyal supporter as I always have been . Well done Debenhams , now regrouping to a new strategy . Always do your own research . | robot ic1
08/8/2018 15:11 | Blackpool very busy today. The staff are very pleasant there and very helpful. I would like the non uniform staff to wear better visibility badges so shoppers could identify staff more easily as it can be a bit difficult to spot who is who there. Debenhams reasonably busy, although I did not see many Debenhams shopping bags going out of the store. Not quite as many sale items in the store as there were. Beauty seemed busy when I came in, but not so busy when I left. Home not busy at all. Cafe busy. They need to keep on top of the toilets there, as 2 were not working properly and this has been the case several times before when we have been in Debenhams. (It is the small details that matter when turning a business upwards again.) Will be checking out Preston, Southport and Manchester this next 6 weeks. M and S reasonably busy, however, I have noticed there is virtually no sale at all. This is either a good sign for Debenhams, because more people will go to Debs, or it is a bad sign, and marks do not need to discount, or marks have called it wrong and think they will get away without discounting. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. ( if Marks start a big sale in the near future, we will know they have called it wrong) How are Debs stores doing in your area? | boraki
