Did I see the recent coy comment that 'every store is profitable'?

Ah yes, I knew it was quite a while ago ie old news...

Are there any shorters here? The big money has been made The big shorters would not waste their time here - if you are in touch with the board then go ahead - make it clear. Nothing like a bit of insider dealing to kick off the day - what are they saying?

2017?! Try 2018.
BTW how many of the shorters here liaise with the Debenhams board, CEO or IR? No didn't think so.

I have seen that Debenhams
Old Toys R US site from a few years ago
It is on a very impressive Retail Park which is landscaped etc.

The Debenhams does look quite exceptional with a Nando's built in.

Deserves to prosper .

The whole Park is usually very busy

Trading figures out soon. Let's see which camp comes out on top. It's worth pointing out that its not all doom and gloom in the retail sector right now. Some retailers are experiencing a sales boost from the warm weather and the pending World cup.
Loyal and patient shareholders could be in for a nice surprise. Fingers crossed and always do your own research. Your shares, your company.

Average earning just out at 2.5% static on last month which isn't enough slack to allow an increase in consumer sales.

Yes you are right niggle, Debenhams must be suffering a decrease in sales and that increases the risk of preventing the dividend to be paid.

Interesting that Debs, Boo sales up 53% with the biggest division Pretty Little Things sales up 158% - it just shows you, High Street Vs Online Only.

If New Look is in trouble Debs is 6ft under. No one is buying homeware in this heat trust me!
