Poor old shorters no hope for them how could niggle get his price quote so wrong today.

All shorters doomed to failure.

Debenhams is one amazing Brand name.

The business was formed in 1778 by William Clark, who began trading at 44 Wigmore Street in London as a drapers' store.

It is profit making and pays dividends.

looking today to purchase another lot of shares.
It might be up and down a little but it will all come right in the end ,investors buying now will benefit in the future .

Nope. No offence to you MrE but as posted numerous times wouldn't short / long this with somebody else's money let alone my hard earned.Guess you're a savvy investor but do think this is not investable either way - like MTC there is likely to be a squeeze, dead cat bounce, then a prolonged period along the floor and will either die or manage to just about survive but either way there are better investments out there IMO.DD

From the trading patterns today I would hazard a guess Brandes are still reducing their holding and there are plenty of takers for the stock judging by the buy/sell ratio. Expecting better things going forward now the divi is out of the Sp.

No let up here all the bluster about x dividend a load of baloney, Debenhams locked in too many long leases billions of them.

Debenhams isn't worth a light.
