03/5/2018 19:51 | Job losses job losses and less money to spend on clothes. " fashion retailers have faced an extremely tough market. The weather – an unusually warm autumn last year and miserable spring this year – has combined with the squeeze on consumers, the rising cost of labour and imported goods, a continuing switch to online shopping, and a trend for shoppers to spend more on leisure than fashion, to create the harsh retail environment." | debsdowner
03/5/2018 19:51 | I'm no expert, but having DEB shares, keep an eye on posts here. I buy clothes, or attempt to but their stock size range seems to be low in some sizes with not much better experience online. The cafes in their stores have varied in quality and I reckon one growth area is to introduce decent restaurants for decrepid old folk like me who has a need for food more than discounted jackets. Better mens shoe dept would be good. Can you pass the message/request on? | bothwellbuyer

03/5/2018 18:56 | I wonder how much JV owes Debenhams, they will haver to sing for their concession debts. "The group is a significant womenswear concession retailer in the UK, and trades from department stores Debenhams and House of Fraser. It also has employees in Ireland and Canada." | debsdowner |
