13/5/2018 17:52 | Odey managers move to reassure clients as losses mount Odey Asset Management has seen more than half its clients' funds walk out the door — but some are riding out the rough performance In just two years, hedge fund manager Crispin Odey saw more than half of his firm’s assets — roughly $6bn — disappear. The situation is dire enough that portfolio managers have been forced in recent months to reassure investors about the future stability of the firm. ‘Odey is paying the price of his big personality’ | justiceforthemany

11/5/2018 09:43 | robot I don't know if you have any health issues you mentioned it not me, all I believe is your views on Debs appear at odds with the market. Both you and Q do have extreme views which do not concur with reality and facts. | debsdowner

11/5/2018 09:13 | robot, No libellous statement at all its my onw view on your stance on Debenhams. You both have an irrational view of Debenhams. In the meantime have you checked out Carpetright RNS ? An emergency loan of £15 million has cost them £2.25 million in an arrangement fee and an interest rate of 18% compounded! This is what c an happen when a retailer hits trouble. | debsdowner
11/5/2018 09:05 | Yep, sounds spot on to me. | discodave4
11/5/2018 09:03 | 🤖 post 5388 ......you stated . "Q and Robot are delusional they both don't understand simple economics never mind more complex economics". THIS ABOVE IS A LIBEL STATEMENT. 10/5/2018 22:03 | It’s all about margin - selling 3rd party brands over own buy is the road to ruin. | niggle
10/5/2018 21:13 | Quite right DD NEXT has always been a high margin business. Margins at Debs shot to pieces. Unless Debs can reduce its long leases it will not last long. | debsdowner
10/5/2018 21:11 | Very sad how the shorters are desperately praying for bad retail figures, another recession, bad sales at Debenhams, thousands of job losses - just so they can make money on their 'short'. Very sad indeed. | justiceforthemany
10/5/2018 20:08 | 🤖 At least QANTAS and I are not bankrupt , and we have money to buy shares .We do understand simple or complex economics .We are far from delusional . Forget the negative writings just stay positive +. Always Do your own research its your cash. | robot ic1
10/5/2018 17:25 | Next offers sunnier profit outlook after strong quarter. Looking good for Debenhams and Marks and Spencer. Short sellers do get it wrong as they did with MRW Next and Ocado and Sainsbury's shorts closed very fast. Often when a good piece of news comes out of a stock that is heavily shorted it leads to a disproportionate capitulation in the share price up as those who are shorting the stock move quickly to buy it back before it keeps on rising. Unlimited losses for shorters the trigger will come soon. Please do your own research. | qantas
10/5/2018 17:15 | niggle, owenski The bears got the upper hand here. There is real worry now of the US and Europe entering stagflation. In fact Debs is suffering stagflation at present with sales falling and costs rising! Stagflation is worst case scenario for global debt its difficult to service. Expect a lot more downside soon. Investors should never get taken in with a value trap share. Q and Robot are delusional they both don't understand simple economics never mind more complex economics. | debsdowner |
