29/2/2000 17:58 | Er Um.........Strong Buy of course- You know you can get charts to tell you anything! | smellybogbrush
29/2/2000 17:15 | So if charts are so great can you tell me what they predicted about FREECOM before last Wednesday. | pw
29/2/2000 17:05 | >>>smellybogbrush tactfully said old chap dodddy | dodddy
29/2/2000 11:18 | AJB, the chart suggests these are going down the toilet. As Limpy would say there is no excuse for owning these! | smellybogbrush
29/2/2000 11:14 | arghh, any news from the board meeting? yours going through the waste paper bin, A. | aquila
29/2/2000 00:46 | CYCLONE - funny you should say that, you're not my bank manager are you? I know nothing , other than that there was a board meeting on Friday, whether this was routine or to discuss a bid approach I've no idea, yours with fingers crossed! A. | aquila
29/2/2000 00:42 | Am I the only one hanging on to these, Bullie any news on the Kennel, I maybe living in one soon. | cyclone
28/2/2000 23:50 | AJB, whaaaaaa ! pdm | pdm
28/2/2000 19:49 | Chart suggests bounce north again off support when it hits around 22p. If so, that will give third touch confirming diagonal support line touchpoints 071099 @ 10p; 240100 @ 18.5p & ?. Stoploss is support at 18.5p. | anthonyjb
28/2/2000 19:41 | The price is down 20% over the last week with pitifully small volume, so only MM sentiment is down. On historical newsflow, sales of part of group seemed to follow with bad figures. However, in one of last weeks trade press articles, DTR are looking @ extending credit terms by 50% for high end kit sales to its dealers; not the sort of thing you do if you're cash strapped. Also the recent extension of 3COM distribution agreements providing marketing funds and direct tech support/resources, should help. | moral minority
28/2/2000 19:32 | I,m still in.....I admit I sold out at £0.39 & £0.36 on the way down but bought back in at £0.31 , but hey, I have mouths to feed. These will be up again before you know it, Moneybags has spoken. | moneybags
28/2/2000 18:16 | Hey PW, I'm with you on this and am still holding until after results. Obviously we're in a closed period and there will not be much action this side of results. Nice call on Freecom ! Pic Guru C2000 would say this, there is a hell of alot of bad blood between C2000 and Dtr. Some of the current Dtr directors are ex-C2000, they have also managed to poach alot of C2000 top managers. A war of words as well !. pdm | pdm
28/2/2000 16:49 | I'm still holding. The fall is a pain but may be shorters who don't understand where is coming from, just looking at any strong gainers that they could flush some sellers from. Market cap is still only £12m so on historic turnover of £265m, Only a little needs to change from top to bottom line to translate into a turnaround. Gross margins are probably around 10% so you can work out the cost of business and upside from there. | pw
28/2/2000 15:51 | Very low volumes. I am hanging on to this consolation like grim death! | nhb
28/2/2000 14:05 | A, no sentiment intended either way - frankly it was a dull article, I read it only because of my DTK interest. It was interesting though that C2000 should bother with a derisary(s) comment. Rob. | picguru
28/2/2000 13:29 | PicGuru, thanks for cheering me up..! I'll take that as "negative sentiment" shall I? Ok, in the circumstances I think it's tight stop, wait for results if it holds, hope for a bid, and dance naked round a silver birch on the third Wednesday of the New Moon - think that covers it..A. | aquila
28/2/2000 13:14 | Don't know if any of you are sad enough to receive, let alone read the Computer Reseller News, but Datrontech were covered in their last week issue spouting their new Customer Support and various other sales addons, addmitting that there is no profit to be made from PC Boxes anymore. Nothing that was really ground breaking, but C2000 (competitors) were also quoted as saying that DTK do not have the product portfolio to support this venture. Wish I'de kept the article because all the above is from memory I'm afraid. | picguru
23/2/2000 00:57 | No date fixed - probably end March beggining of April - no requirement to flag them, according to the corner shop gossip..A. | aquila
23/2/2000 00:39 | Last year the results came out end of April, the year before end of March. Anyone know if it's going to be March or April this time? | crypto
23/2/2000 00:30 | Aquila - Not really (!) but it looks like the best I'm going to get so thanks. | nhb
23/2/2000 00:21 | NHB, a Jupiter offload would need to be reported and would have - imo - a positive effect one they were out - meaningless and reassuring enough?? regards,A. | aquila
23/2/2000 00:01 | I too am in. Some meaningless but reassuring words would go down very well at the moment. Something like, "Don't worry, it's all going to be alright". Seriously, does anyone have any theories as to why the price drop. Jupiter dumping there last load? etc.... | nhb
22/2/2000 20:12 | Some words of comfort and joy.... Whacking great hammer formation today. This usually means trend reversal, so maybe an up day tomorrow. IMHO, blah blah, do your own...etc. Yours with the toolkit dcb | dead bounce
22/2/2000 16:57 | also 1000 @31 late dodddy | dodddy
22/2/2000 14:56 | Well.... It's bounced back, (phew), But why ? I checked out the trades on ADVFN and it got marked up 1p on a tiny trade of 2000 and then another 1p on the next trade of 6,800. I was wondering if I phone up my broker and ask for 25 shares If that would push it up further. | adamh |
