12/5/2000 10:07 | Anybody still in these, they just won't lie down. I'm intrigued, anybody any thoughts? cheers Learjet | learjet
10/5/2000 00:45 | Moneybags, A trade went through @ 15p offer, You haven't been stung have you? | pw
10/5/2000 00:17 | I'm holding, as PW says 30% without news and from where I'm standing it looks like mainly buys, there has to be something going on. cheers Learjet | learjet
10/5/2000 00:09 | Now buying at 0.13 I'm Rich,I'm Rich......! | moneybags
10/5/2000 00:07 | There must be something a foot for such a large price movement. A price does not move 30% in a day without something doing the rounds. | pw
10/5/2000 00:02 | I make most of the transactions today sales (but then I don't have a holding...), e.g. 11.45 single protected transaction of 75,000 reported at 11.5p, had it been a purchase the price would have risen. Kayak | kayak
10/5/2000 00:01 | Your right Greystone......I just bought 30,000 at 0.12 but the trade is not showing up yet. Bought on the phone so might be a delayed trade. Regards , Moneybags | moneybags
09/5/2000 14:40 | We could also campaign for better buy/sell matching rules: e.g. a. match delayed trades ("D", "N") with spread one or two hours earlier as appropriate b. where the spread changed just before the trade being matched, match it with the previous spread and not the current one c. don't attempt to match single protected transactions etc. ("T" etc.) d. don't attempt to match any trades on SETS stocks. Kayak | kayak
09/5/2000 14:33 | Shall we campaign to get the "D" shown so we can be sure what is happening? This would put a radically different reflection on things. | pw
09/5/2000 14:31 | The 12p trade is yours, Moneybags, the thing is that trades 6 x NMS and over are automatically delayed by the LSE by 1 hour (2 hours if NMS=1000). When the trade eventually came in at ADVFN it was incorrectly matched with the spread one hour later, which is why it showed up as a sale. The problem is compounded by the fact that for some reason ADVFN are dropping the "D" flag on delayed trades. Your purchase made the price start rising again after a morning of mainly sales in a weak market caused the MMs to run for cover :-) Kayak | kayak
09/5/2000 13:44 | The broker (Stocktrade) phoned up to say they had bought me 30,000 at my limit of 0.12 as they had to go to the market to buy them so I am taking it that it has not gone through the system yet. It has been added to my holding on my Java on screen account and the money taken out (at 0.12pence) so I definitely have them........Honest Guv. WEIRD.... Regards , Moneybags | moneybags
09/5/2000 11:57 | I'm holding on at least until the US opens before making a decision. The majority of transactions are still buys so someone is either stake building or knows something we don't. :) | greystone
09/5/2000 11:39 | Now 11p -- I guess you sold, Greystone :-) Will it bounce at the previous support of 10p? Kayak | kayak
09/5/2000 11:16 | Datrontech's share price is going through a rough time, but a recovery is definately underway... | timcsu
09/5/2000 10:56 | Ah well! Now hit my stop loss. Guess its decision time. Disappointing to say the least! | greystone
09/5/2000 10:53 | ...and I thought it was getting a new Kennel not a Stable??? | cyclone
08/5/2000 20:53 | Despite the recent poor market sentiment and less than encouraging company results, I am intrigued to see that the share price of DTR has been relatively stable. I am still optimistic - if only to confound Aquila! :) | greystone
08/5/2000 16:43 | I was actually a bit dissapointed with the results. Sales have certainly held up but margins are declining and I feel the company faces a certain threat from the contraction of their credit rating. In the business in which they operate, financial stability is everthing. Without stability they can not run a large trading deficit to finance sales to their customers and suppliers will not be willing to offer large credit terms, thereby restricting their total sales opportunity. Regardless of whether their core proposition is correct this is a major burden on their business. 2h profits were encouraging but with net debt of £12.5m they will need a capital restructure to enable themselves to grow again. Any company that terminates its dividend is sending out a very clear signal to shareholders!!! Most of the trading update was a bit fluffy but the key points were ; Mulford resigning which should change some of the sentiment in the city and investigating the possibility of developing an Application Service Provider (ASP) for business to business (B2B) applications in mobile computing and remote access. The second I'm suprised that they did not elaborate more on. Four months ago this may have created impetus for another push in the share price but currently they will need to be an strong annoucement or significant improvement in the next set of results. At the current market cap of £6m the city is not discounting any recovery at all in the business and while the core business is turning there is a lot of interia against a recovery. A speculative investment not for your pension fund (Unless you intend having a balanced portfolio owning a whole tranch of similar companies). Rgds, Peter | pw
08/5/2000 16:40 | Aquila.... 15p-16p are we still hanging in???? | cyclone
07/5/2000 16:17 | Joint Venture is my only hope. regards,A. | aquila |
