TCG's main issue is the UK. It still makes good money in Scandinavia; although I've heard that the bulk of the profits here come from selling thirsty scandis booze on the booze cruises and I think that Germany is OK. If they can hive off the UK into a pre pack/CVA then it stands a chance. I'm not sure whether this feasible or even possible.

I've never seen any value in TCG but if it can restructure the cost base via cva and the b/s via a debt/equity swap and/or a rights issue, it could emerge a stronger competitor, instead of a weak and vulnerable boxer that it absorbing punches from Jet2 and not being able to hit back.

Many of these businesses are funded by negative working capital, which is fine if (i) you have no debt and (ii) there is growth in customer continue to pay in advance. TCG's debt position is so high that it rated as junk B+. Of more concern, is the fall in the gross cash position which points falling customer demand. If this is the case, it is not case of if but when.

School starts at 1.00pm relax everyone.

What a sad life some out there lead.

Woozle TCG is too far gone to save anything for holders.
A pre-pack ( someone better explain that term to my other half) at best to save jobs etc.

TCG is looking to be a death spiral. At this rate, they will have problems with insurances, payment terms and will have to pay more upfront to secure beds etc. Ultimately, TCG has too much debt and too higher cost base. A rights issue/debt-for-equity swap will sort the balance but a CVA/mass closing of shops is needed to address the UK business. That's a jolly big ask to do in one go!

How funny that one of the 4 idiot amigos is pretending to be CT. As the saying goes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I've just filtered the buffoon.

Still execpecting the market to sell off when May's deal does get put to sleep , expecting further rhetoric from Eurore as a wto exit becomes more imminent...but difficult to predict anything currently..

Be glad to get the next month out the way...the politics is just killing any sensible investing .. presuming that clarity is provided or just price in what's considered the worse after the commons vote and get on with it..

Very interesting Trust Pilot scores, thanks for posting.

Yesterday I had to do some banking, and as my home town (population 14000) no longer has a bank, I visited the next town which does (population 25000). The high street was busy, and I noticed a Thomas Cook shop, which never noticed before. I was personally surprised/shocked to see TC have a shop there. I looked inside and there was one staff member serving one customer, no other staff or customers. No wonder they can't compete effectively with Dart on price.
