I agree but investors have adapted - so far - to a riskier environment.

I'm actually surprised the reaction to the escalation in Syria has been non-existent. Especially with airlines and airlines, who are often the first and hardest hit. For this reason I have sold DTG and OTB for now.

Cruise missiles over the Southern Med may give you an opp. Air traffic control warning operators in Cyprus and Southern Turkey to be ready for any disruption.

Hiya CF,All relatively quiet on the boards without tong around. Wonder what rates they have on the financing component.. Also some operators purchasing plane are first purchased then sold and leased back through a finance company for a period, then bought back at a predetermined price and time in the future. Apparently its not uncommon for the US Airlines to use Japanese funding.. I'm not an expert in the aviation business but wondered if you had any idea. I'm hoping that rates are fixed as much as possible or now on leases just in case. Any idea what the hedging book for oil is looking like going forward? Hope PM factored in this growth when oil was at the 50 bucks mark.Alas like you was hoping for a correction of some sort.. Not often I wish for a decline so can reinstate trading positions..Didn't move quick enough at the 820 mark..Is 2018/19 going through the 3 bill mark im not betting against that.. Just no real idea where that will leave the NBT numberSnorkel

Hi Tiger,
I've just bought in a few weeks ago. Was wondering when your expectation of £10 is - before or after the results in July?

Very close to my numbers.
Was hoping for a short term pull back to buy more but it’s not coming.
The 10 target will be here ahead of my timeline

CT,
Any ideas on the total value of the Boeing order. Capex of £473m in 2017, broker forecast of £462m in 2018 and £220m in 2019. Total capex £1,155m or $1,612m versus order value £2,880m. In other words a substantial discount as implied in the RNS back in 2015/16.

Does that look right?

Pinched from one of the news feeds: Dart Group (LON:DTG) had its price target upped by equities researchers at Canaccord Genuity from GBX 826 ($11.41) to GBX 923 ($12.75) in a report released on Wednesday. The firm presently has a “buy” rating on the stock. Canaccord Genuity’s price target indicates a potential upside of 8.02% from the company’s previous close.

Thinking of adding, had another read of a write-up in SCSW

Due to the continued success of our growing Leisure Travel business and a more normalised pricing environment after the heavy discounting in the market over the past year, the Board now expects Group underlying profit before taxation[1] for the year ending 31 March 2018 to be materially ahead of current market expectations.

The Group will publish its Preliminary Results for the year ending 31 March 2018 on 12 July 2018.

Think they recieved at least a 50% (typical) discount off list price on new planes, and possibly up to 60%. That should change the picture on CAPEX!
